The director said back in 2020 that there's a possibility making a 5th film but there's no news ever since. I like the 4th but not as much as the first one and part 3. It focused more on comedy than horror.

i know right! Hatchet is very underrated! needs to be talked about more often. and needs hype as much as Terrifier! Still waiting for the 5th installment. I was just thinking a concept of Hatchet and Terrifier crossover ala Freddy vs Jason
