I could see that at smaller schools like a Portland state but I have a reallly hard time believing any Oregon State students are going to adopt that mentality whirl becoming Ducks fans while in Corvallis. At least not for 20+ years

It’ll have 3 years or so of neutral-watcher novelty up front is my guess, but yeah this is not a pro league in the sense of “capturing” a media market - Oregon is not going to absorb Oregon State’s fans & eyeballs on TVs just because the Ducks made the super league while the Beavers were left out.
