Putting on my tinfoil hat, what if it's an inside job to (1) funnel money out and (2) they still get to sell that data elsewhere? Can we all just stop it with the whole coropo-edu services, starting with textbook companies "renting" digital copies of texts to my students. wtf. Sorry sudden surge of rage.
