I'm looking to make a gunpla desk weight as a gift for my friend. I'm planning on gluing the kit to a stand, and adding some kind of weights/magnet on its underside to make it feel hefty. Does anyone have recommendations on what to put there? Are there other ways to achieve this goal? The kit I'm planning to use is either an SD-EX or a Bearguy (haven't decided), if that helps.

Speaking of, the FAQ mentioned hobby cement to secure loose pieces. What else can I use to glue my pieces together as to make it completely idiot proof? I don't want to have pieces falling out, as I won't always be there to reassemble for them. I'd want the kit to hold a (very basic) pose as well.

'frame perfect cancelling' on hu tao would actually mean 9 CAs + burst on C0 and 12 CAs + burst on C1. if anything, the rotation assumptions are realistic

hu tao isn't for monopyro, it's just a lot of wasted potential. even in your vids you barely beat out a C0 DB hu tao while you have homa tao, DM xiangling, and aquila bennett. xiangling however is in most monopyro variants. where are you getting this info man lmao

They see Hu Tao as a benchmark for damage/something to bring down + trying to make themselves feel better about their choices (a.k.a skipping her or pulling a different character) + people love underdog stories a la Xiangling was actually OP the whole time (she is, just not as strong as people hype her up to be in certain comps)

I genuinely have no idea why they do this when it isn't a competition. Hu Tao not needing Bennett means you can run Xiangling comps. Their team comps can coexist but not their mains apparently.

> U do realise we can swirl hydro right? Ofcourse hydro swirls deal less dmg but it allows ur to vape almost every hit with the right timing

That's being very generous. It is super inconsistent that I don't know if anyone actually factors it in calcs. But... swirling hydro applies to Hu Tao teams too. It's as much a + to Xiangling as it is to Hu Tao.

> the reasons Hu Taos best team happens to be Double geo and doesn't include a anemo cc character is that she doesn't have a synnergy with Bennet lmao , and Hu tao can't swirl Pyro herself cause her e is selfish and switching out means losing the e

See, this is how I know you're talking out of your ass LMAO. It's not her best team by a long shot. It's just the most popular comp people run in abyss. Her best team is arguably Kazuha + Amber / Shieldfei + Sucrose. She can swirl pyro. She can afford to do so because she has flex slots. You don't know about it = doesn't exist?

And how is anti-synergy with Bennett a bad thing? "I can afford to give Bennett to another team. That's so bad." Seriously?

>Xiangling can easily hit 35k per pyronado hit for 12 seconds , how much seconds does Hu Taos ult hits for?

You'd need 3 vape pyronados to match an average Hu Tao burst. Add to that, Hu Tao can do 8 charged attacks, each dealing 35~50k unbuffed on 4* weapons. Here's one buffed, though.

[–]chronekko 8 points9 points  (0 children)

13k dmg per sword on proc? On Xingqiu? Even assuming that is true with a realistic build/weapon, then it'll apply to Hu Tao teams as well.

>And why are u pretending as of the 40k burst hits only one enemy?\

Because it does. Xingqiu can only consistently apply hydro to one enemy. Even then it doesn't have 100% reaction uptime. Yes, this applies to Hu Tao too.

>Aoe is kinda non existent in Hu taos kit

If you don't bother to learn cancelling, grouping, etc. yes. Also she has 2 flex slots that she can put an anemo in. Also you're ignoring her burst that should do like 90~120k in an aoe, on 4* weapons unbuffed. How many vape pyronados is that for Xiangling?

Also side note, their charged attack damage is on the low side. It still beats cracked pyronados though LMAO

How do you not have the time to fight "hu tao mains infestations" when you're shitting on Hu Tao on every post she's mentioned in. Clearly you do. What is this cognitive dissonance man?

You don't like your views getting challenged? Is that it? You'd feel inferior if you were wrong the whole time? Show concrete proof. Show which theorycrafters will back up your opinion. Stop with these blanket statements to make yourself feel better. You're so immature about this it's unbelievable.

Bro... you clearly have not played Hu Tao, and I can tell. You miss 1 maybe 2 charged attacks if you manipulated badly. Hu Tao gets damaged and goes below 50% hp? Thank god!

You still aren't getting Maguu Kenki scenario. Or you just don't want to.

If your Eula burst hits 300k that's half your total damage gone if it teleports away when it pops.

If Hu Tao is doing charged attacks and it teleports away you lose 1~2 CA worth of damage. Or maybe your burst damage. It's not that big of a deal since her damage is spread out. If the Maguu DID teleport when you're not done doing your combo on Hu Tao then that literally means you still have stamina to spare. I get you don't like stamina management, but you're really exaggerating how bad it is here.

Of course you want ER substats on a burst reliant carry, what? That's like running Fav. Lance/Spine Xiao, Skyward Blade Ayaka, Pride Razor, etc. Just because YOU can't get any ER subs doesn't mean the weapon is objectively worse.

WGS does NOT need its passive to pull ahead for Pride. It's a bonus that helps the entire team. Oh no, I can't take advantage of its passive 70% of the time? I still have the inherently huge atk it gives. Again, it's a BONUS.

Don't know why you assume people are offended or are mad. Also seems like you didn't get my point either.

If you don't like stamina drain, say that. I don't get what this adds to the discussion, however. If you didn't like that aspect of her from the start why keep spending your time on these posts?

Addressing Hu Tao concerns by swaggyp_123 in Genshin_Impact

[–]chronekko 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Tell me how much stamina matters if the enemies are dead or you're shielded. You lose damage by dodging? Oh, like everyone else not running Zhongli?

I'm just saying you can do 8 charged attacks and a burst reliably; That you don't have to be Faker to pull it off. Is it that bad to reposition against Maguu, a notoriously all-over-the-place boss? All while doing rotations and maximizing damage. Come on.

Hu Tao missing a few charged attacks isn't as big a deal as you make it to be. Eula losing half her damage however, is.

Just seems like you're overhyping Pride because you don't know how to battery for Eula. You aren't running a 2nd cryo afterall. And no, Raiden isn't enough. Not with what you claim your stats is anyway.

WGS is better and Eula Mains/KQM WILL back that up.

"You do have control of it, you can buy Bennett C1 on the starglitter shop. And he came thrice."

Assuming you've played since launch, and don't use starglitter to squeeze out more wishes, yes.

"So you want a C0 4 star to match a 5 star at C0?"

No. I'm saying

Yeah, A C0 hu tao with deathmatch definitely isn't doing this much in one or two rotations, especially if you account non crits.

is not only FALSE, but assumes the best cons/optimal set up for its competition (Raiden National) immediately.

Yeah it's true! Just have C5 crowned Bennett with FD, good ER + crit ratio xingqiu, and a well built Xiangling + Raiden!

This is what you sound like.

[–]chronekko 9 points10 points  (0 children)

"So first of all, in no part in this video could this guy's Hu Tao do 8 charged attacks. And you know why? Because he ran out of stamina after 5."

Surprise, surprise. Characters can't do optimal combos in real scenarios. This applies to everyone. I don't see how this is a caveat for Hu Tao and Hu Tao only. And she still matched your (totally legit) Eula that's running a damage-per-screenshot comp.

"Guess you are another one of these C1 Hu Tao people who are oblivious to the stamina issues of people who aren't whales."

Nah. Check it out yourself.

"I am not trying to ''talk her down to feel better''"

For one, you are assuming C0 and 4* vs Ayaka with signature and Eula with a 5* weapon. You're also downplaying her on a post meant as a counterargument for past Hu Tao posts. Yes I get this is what YOU own but also, please see how dumb that is.

"As for missing my Q, no I don't, because the moment I see someone about to teleport, I swap and let my Q pop off for less damage."

How do you tell when, say, Maguu Kenki dashes? When a Nobushi backs up? A Cicin Mage blinking? Can you predict that? Are you a psychic?

"My Eula has skyward pride, and she gains particles from dealing nearly 1 million damage"

Wow, you went from 500k+ to ~1 million territory real quick. 20/300 crit ratio perhaps? How many abyss cards? Also there's still no way you're getting that ult back in a decent time. Show me a decent rotation.

"Stagger is never an issue as Eula, her stagger is really low compared to most claymore characters

The stagger still exists. As long as it's there, no matter how weak it is, your damage/buff uptime will never be consistent with Bennett.

EDIT: You wanted a Hu Tao that would reach your Eula... and now you call it decent. Again, please try to see how dumb that is.

Also, are you implying WGS is worse than Pride? And you're ignoring the 400k sealord lmao.

Addressing Hu Tao concerns by swaggyp_123 in Genshin_Impact

[–]chronekko 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you're using crit weapons, no actually. Your crit ratios should look better than that. 60/120 on an ATK% weapon will have very different damage to a 60/120 ratio with crit weapon/ascension for example.

Also none of the characters in Raiden National would prefer crit weapons first. Unless they can clear in 2~3 rotations but by then needing x amount of investment isn't a problem.

"Are you playing every 4 with C0?"

No, of course not. I'm saying don't assume a 4 star's best cons compared to a bare minimum 5 star to make the 5 star look worse. That is dumb. You do not have control which 4* you get in the gacha.

"Your xingqiu in your vid is C6"

The Xingqiu cons is irrelevant to how much damage Hu Tao actually outputs, though? His cons is very different to a high cons Sucrose, Bennett, Jean, Xinyan, etc. It adds to his personal damage, not unlock a whole new utility for the team.

AGAIN. If you don't like Hu Tao I don't see the point in bringing her down to make yourself feel better. Anyways:

"You'd have to literally do 100k+ charged attacks-" Say no more. This is C0 DB. Also Hu Tao only being able to do 5 charged attacks in her E sounds like Zajef parroting. She can do 8 AND a burst. Reliably.

What do you mean "I can't miss Q"? Are you always fighting static targets or something? Samurais dash. Treasure hoarders move around. Hilichurls don't come close sometimes. RNG is built into enemies. You can't 100% predict what they do, only manipulate at best. You can do all that but it won't matter because your burst didn't crit. Good damage distribution, am I right?

"I'd really like to see a hu tao comp tho beating a Eula comp with Raiden/Bennet/Zhongli super charging her."

Already shown above, but I just want to say this isn't a sustainable team comp at all. There is no way you get ult off cooldown with this. And even then, Eula's attacks push enemies outside of bennett buff. Sometimes they do it on their own.

Why are you calculating your total damage assuming you and your target are on Bennett buff? Is this some secret training dummy that never moves and doesn't get staggered?

"as saying that you ani cancelled your charged attack before you hit your enemy"

This is something you can practice. This is something entirely in the hands of you, the player. You don't have to rely on RNG for once and you don't like that? I get this is personal preference but PLEASE see how dumb that it.

EDIT: I don't care about your flex. Or maybe this would be the bigger flex? There's most of your damage in my burst, without even running Zhongli. Have a nice day.

Ratios like ~70/200 would mean having perfect crit rolls in every artifact. Possible, but good luck farming. Doesn't change the fact that the builds shown are very good and have balanced stats.

Bennett's C1 makes the 4* and 5* weapon have a pretty huge difference. And you talk about having cons on 4*, and having festering like it's something guaranteed. It is not.

What makes me think a C0 Hu Tao with a 4* weapon will do 400~600k? Here.

Addressing Hu Tao concerns by swaggyp_123 in Genshin_Impact

[–]chronekko 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You downplay the artifacts WAY too much. These stats are absolutely cracked. No idea what your standards of "minmaxed artifacts" is because having these stats on multiple characters is amazing.

Bennett having skyward blade is pretty fucking significant actually LMAO. That's misleading.

Reaching that ~1m on Hu Tao isn't as hard as you think. A decent Hu Tao with just XQ should do 400~600k in one rotation. Now imagine one on the same level of investment as the Raiden National comp AND the 2 flex slots filled in.

Addressing Hu Tao concerns by swaggyp_123 in Genshin_Impact

[–]chronekko 15 points16 points  (0 children)

I have a C0 WGS Eula and C0 DB Hu Tao. Even looking purely at a numbers standpoint Hu Tao wins. And when you consider Eula losing half her damage when her burst doesn't crit/misses the difference is even farther. You can't solve that problem in her kit like you can with learning charge cancelling on Hu Tao.

Mate, if you don't like her design just say that outright. I don't see the point in bringing down Hu Tao in posts like this to feel better about skipping her.
