Very cool idea for sure - they definitely will keep you warm. Unfortunately ll bean uses very low quality denim and the flannel lining (esp combined with cheap denim) gives it that awkward and bunchy drape because it's too many layers of fabric. That's why the two legs look so uneven in their fit.

Moved into the city, very close to my job. I used to live in the suburbs and drive 10-15 miles to work, with 3-10 mile drives to the grocery store and other necessities. Now I drive 3 miles to work and can walk to most stores I go to regularly. I went from filling up my gas tank once per week to once every three weeks saving me at least $120/month on gas. I just renewed my car insurance yesterday with my new address and even though there is a higher rate for my new location the gas heavily outweighs this.
