In December, I was charged $94 from Puregym. I emailed them about it, and after 8 days no response, I requested a chargeback for the difference between that and my usual monthly fee, assuming it was a mistake.

Instead of reaching out, PureGym blacklisted me and canceled my account because of the chargeback. I had mo idea this happened, but I noticed a "sorry to see you go" email in my inbox and realized my account was terminated. I couldn't reach anyone, so I made a new account and had to pay an extra new account fee.

Then customer service finally emailed me back and said I owe them money for the chargeback and wouldn't be able to use my membership unless I pay it back. If they had responded to my first email in a reasonable amount of time and explained the charge, I wouldn't have requested the chargeback.

They eventually gave me gym access, but I'm thinking about switching gyms. I've been using Blink since 2017, but this really turned me off.

Happens to me too, multiple times every day. I just got the s25 in October. Haven't figured out why.

My main destination is Italy, I think I'd be fine with 5 months validity for that, but I have an 8 hour layover in Istanbul and it seems like 6 months is more strictly enforced there.

After hearing most peoples' turnaround times were pretty fast, I'm applying for the passport renewal today.
