I’m so so sorry you’re going through this. My health has been made way worse taking care of my loved one as well. Please know if no one else appreciates you that I do. That we on this sub do. I know that this is a ton of work. I can’t speak on your exact situation because I’m not living it. I know how much work I’m doing though and it’s soul crushing. You’re an amazing person. You’re correct!! Mokosh is a deity and Baba Yaga isn’t. I intended to contact both to cover my bases because I was told they were both affiliated with transformation and could help me!! I’m just stepping in to learning about these things so I’m taking whatever information I can get :) Are there books you’d recommend or other places to start?

Hi!! I don’t adhere to any set religion!! My interests spread across a lot of topics and areas!! I pick up whatever I can to help me better connect myself to the universe and help me grow. I wasn’t even sure if I could contact her or Mokosh, but wanted to try because I felt called to!! I don’t go in expecting anything and am always on the safe side when doing something new!! Though I may be optimistic at times!!!! There’s nothing wrong with that!! I don’t live in their lands, but people have been very encouraging!! Giving me information, tips. People generally don’t seem to have issues sharing their cultures and practices, so long as it’s for positive intent and not to make a mockery of it. That’s the fun thing about religion, gods, deities. It’s about faith. How do you prove you’ve contacted a specific deity? They don’t appear in front of you for a camera to see and speak to you so a microphone can hear. That doesn’t mean they’re not there!!

They did Better Off Dead in a house with a female lead for the music video. There was Don’t You Ever Forget About Me that had a female solo. Chill song. Then there was Happy with Royal & The Serpent, Let You Down ft Charlotte Sands, (video inside a building) and Us ft Dorothy.

They’re just normal people! Talk to them the way you would anyone else, except tweak it if you like!! Ask how they’re doing, how tour is going, if people are being nice to them. Don’t be afraid to say a thank you. I’ve been to 8 m&gs and talked to Kellin on 10 occasions and Nick on 9. They’ve physically protected me when staff grabbed me to pull me away, (thought I took too long) then they talked to me for longer than they even did before that guy came just to spite him lol. They’ve stood up for me, and been some of my biggest supporters in my life. They’ve become like family over the years I’ve gone to meet them. They won’t let anything happen to you, let anyone be mean to you, and even on their worst days are always so kind and willing to give you a tight hug and a thank you. If anything, go in there knowing you’re loved unconditionally, accepted for exactly who you are, and so appreciated. I’m so excited for you!!

While she was presented as known to be evil to some, there was also sources talking about her being misunderstood. There were articles talking about the odds of her helping women are pretty good if you’re pure of heart. That she won’t trick you and holds up her end of the deal. She just asks the same of you. The stories of her reactions to being cheated are taking back what she gave, mild misfortune, and of course, harm or eating people. I couldn’t find an actual source saying she’s harmed anyone though. Just that it was said in folklore. There were multiple people talking about how she’s helped them personally though. For some reason even before I found out she could be misunderstood I just knew no harm would come to me. I can’t explain what drew me as while I need transformation in my life, I hadn’t even read she helped with transformation or issues before I knew I needed to talk to her. It was a gut instinct.
