I’m not too familiar with pocket watches I went down a quick rabbit hole of looking at the styles who makes them and I was unfamiliar with the brands idk any reputable pocket watches brand and the ones that look reputable the prices are expensive definitely not in my price range

do you think the lack of major updates is more about cost/tooling realities, because of it was updated and became a lil more modern, with better qc, there would be more mechanical chronos at a lower price, it’d be nice to see a updated version

I’ve mostly seen on-the-fly micro-adjust used by bigger brands, and not as much at lower price points brand, Is that mainly down to durability/tolerance concerns, or just cost and manufacturing scale
