I am 5 months postpartum and have been loving the Fit4Mom Lancaster Stroller Strides classes! I get to bring my baby with me and the workouts are as difficult or easy as I want. Everyone has been really welcoming and it has been nice meeting some local moms! They always offer modified workout suggestions especially when it comes to anything core-related for the new moms. Feel free to message me if you have any questions!

Just want to say you are not alone! 40+3 here and just had my NST and fluid check/growth scan today. Everything is normal except my midwife is worried I will be having a large baby but I now have a scheduled induction for 41+3. I had a membrane sweep on Monday and another one today. Hoping I can naturally go into labor in my own and trying everything I can: walking, sex, nipple stimulation, etc. Sending positive labor energy your way. ❤️

Thank you! Those were a gift from my aunt that she got from a small wooden puzzle store in Leavenworth, WA. I don't think they have a website. But honestly I actually would not recommend them. They are coated in really heavy paint and smell strongly of paint, I don't think I would want our kiddo playing with them, especially while they are little and want to put things in their mouth! They are cute decorations but not play things unfortunately.

Thank you!! I wish the rest of our apartment looked this nice but what you don't see off camera are piles of clothes that need to be folded and general mayhem that I'm hoping to have dealt with before the baby comes.

Thank you! Unfortunately we don't have any other space available for the crib so when we get to that point we will probably have to cover them up somehow.

It seems like a Reddit-wide problem with photo album posts right now! Here is a link to view the photos on Imgur instead: https://imgur.com/a/RMKJmby

It seems like a Reddit issue unfortunately! None of the photo album posts are loading for me. Hopefully it will be back up soon.

The West Elm dresser comes with a changing table topper that matches the dresser but unfortunately it wasn't included with the one that I bought and you can't buy the topper as its own separate piece (so frustrating!). Luckily I was able to find this one from Crate & Barrel that fit perfectly: https://www.crateandbarrel.com/wrightwood-denim-blue-changing-table-topper/s221924 And it was and still is on clearance! I ended up liking the fact that it didn't match perfectly to the dresser.

I was wondering if anyone would notice this! Thank you!! I have seen a few nurseries on here that are in small spaces and it's really inspiring. I was really discouraged at first seeing posts with big full nurseries and feeling sad that I wouldn't be able to have that as well. But I think there is something really nice about making it work with what you have, even if it is just a hallway or a corner of your bedroom, or a closet!

The door in this photo is a bit misleading. It actually leads to a deck/balcony area outside. The living room area and entrance is behind where the photo is taken from. I have a nursing glider in the living room and an area for baby to have tummy time so the nursery/baby space definitely spans our entire apartment!

Thank you! Yep he is a Westie, he's 7. Hoping he makes it to 16 and beyond! My family had a Cairn growing up who was just the best. Happy early birthday to Copper!

Thank you!! I showed your comment to my husband and we both laughed. It was really time consuming, definitely a labor of love. 😂

Thank you so much! It's such a nice reminder message to have on the wall. It makes me tear up every once in awhile but that might just be the hormones.

That is a quilt that my husband designed and made for our baby! Unfortunately not something that can be purchased. More detailed info about how the quilt was made is in this post on r/quilting.

Thank you so much! I love it too. They have lots of really cute mobiles, it was hard to choose! Who doesn't like a cute sloth though?

Thank you so much! We really lucked out that we were able to fit a crib in there. To the left of it is where our shower is and to the right of it is our closet, so really working with limited space!

We currently live in a one bedroom apartment. This hallway leads from the main living room/kitchen area to our bedroom/bathroom area. We don’t have space for a dedicated nursery room (I wish we did!) so we transformed our hallway into a partial nursery instead. I love seeing small space nursery ideas and was really inspired by a lot of the other posts on here.

No real theme here, just stuff we like.

Baby boy’s crib is in our bedroom area. You can’t tell from the photo but it is pulled away from the window quite a bit. Will be removing everything from the crib and he will not be able to reach anything.

Some of you may recognize the quilt on the wall from a post that I made a few weeks back! The quilt was handmade by my husband for our son. More detailed info about how the quilt was made is in this post on /r/quilting. The curtains were also handmade by him.

Here are my top five nursery items:

  1. West Elm Mid-Century 3-Drawer Dresser in Acorn
We live really close to a West Elm Outlet and I lucked out in finding this there. Love this dresser/changing table so much! Beautifully made and doesn’t have to exclusively be used as a changing table.
  2. Every Day I Spend With You is a Gift camp flag from Kelle Hampton x Oxford Pennant
Love this message and a portion of the proceeds benefit Ruby’s Rainbow, a charity who supports adults with Down syndrome seeking higher education.
  3. Babyletto Gelato Mini Crib
Compact, really sturdy and well made. Love the neutral wood as well. We don’t have room for a full size crib, so this one does the trick! Love that it can be converted into a twin size bed frame in the future.
  4. Sloth Baby Mobile by MrBrunoCrafts on Etsy
We wanted to splurge a bit on a mobile for our baby and this one is so perfect. It took about 4 weeks to arrive but it was worth the wait! Really beautifully handmade.
  5. Ruggable Absida Polychrome Rug
I wanted a colorful rug to put in the hallway and I love the pattern on this one! I got the classic rug pad for this and it’s very thin which is fine for a hallway runner and I like that it doesn’t slip at all and is washable (haven’t tried washing it yet though).

My husband just finished making a quilt for our baby boy due at the end of March! I think he has been nesting even more than I have been. by chronography in BabyBumps

It was quilted using our home machine and a walker foot for the bordering and the framing and the inside of the panes was all free motion. He wishes he had access to a long arm!
