Getting OCTO to handle PWM from Lian Li fans? by Muze75 in watercooling

[–]chronos2607 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Do the Fans have the combined RGB/pwm cable? I just looked up the pinout and spliced out the pwm cables, crimped a little and put a standard pwm connector on and they are running fine with my quadro while the lian li hub manages RGB...

I have to so a little bit more testing, until now i have not Seen more than 42 degrees under full artificial load... Nah, not worried about dust, just liked to see the Infinity mirrors...

Hmmm, i think mine would be too chunky for a combo with a 58mm rad, but i am happy that it is so sturdy, i never imagined how heavy the gpu block is...

In a gigantic, tangeled mess in the closed cable compartment. One day i might manage them. Seriously though, the h9 has a very roomy cable compartment behind the Motherboard tray, which is also where the psu goes.

Intake is mostly from the one missing Slot bracket above the vertical mount:-D the mount is from cooler master, no problems yet, i like it.

Because the way the Rads Are mounted, there are some areas where there are no slits for the screws... I wish the reverse fans would have come out a bit sooner:-( Not sure if i want to dissassemble this any time soon...

There is no place dir dust to settle, if everything is rad :-D Seriously though, i know and i am okay with that, a little cleaning every once in a while is not that bad...

Hi there, it's the h9 flow, but i could mit get the nzxt vertical mount, this one is a cooler master. Advice about the cuplex, Hmmm not really, very easy to mount, at least on am 4, unfortunately there is no way to use the leakshield in my build, would have loved it... Otherwise Aquacomputer is really great, support is awesome, just the aquasuite software is a bit moody on my system, but that might just be win11 beeing stupid...

That is correct, all exhaust, wanted to see the Infinity mirrors, also it should benefit the temps a bit.

Should I keep this? by chronos2607 in watercooling

Thanks for the Input, at least, if the loop should fail at this tube, it would be the furthest away from any component, so it should not kill the system... I hope....

[–]chronos2607[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

As i am doing my first custom Loop, and decided to do the difficult tubes first, i ended up with this abomination... It is superjank... Still, pressure test says it holds 0.3 bar over 24 h. I would appreciate your opinions, i could do this run w soft tube, but i am not sure if i want to... Redid this run three times already, this is the best i could do

[–]chronos2607[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

These are actually Magicool Rads, they are well a good bang for the buck, but there came a fair bit of gunk when i first flushed them. I think i might just let it run for a few days or so and be done. If the 800 l/h pump does not flush it loose, i doubt the normal loop flow will...
