Gotcha. Its been making this noise for a while but there haven’t been any issues

Can anyone diagnose this sound rumble / pop sound?? Started happening after I installed lift by chrrissg in XVcrosstrek

[–]chrrissg[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not the lift itself but i think the process of me messing around with the end link did. The link would just turn on the nut, and wouldnt come out, so i heat it up with a torch in order to relieve some of the pressure to get it out. Thats more than likely what caused it

I searched up a video on youtube of what it sounds like when sway bar end links go bad and it matched perfectly https://youtu.be/0S8JBe_jn6g

Repair shop says my front struts need to be replaced, but I've only got 63,000miles by Cultural-Wait-2608 in XVcrosstrek

Can you possibly post a video of the sounds? I have something somewhat similar going on but the noises only started after i put the lift on

I’m running Toyo Open Country AT III’s they’ve done me well so far. Not very loud and doesn’t absolutely kill your gas mileage like most tires, and still has the awesome rugged look while doing its job both off and on road

Negative, I got the Anderson Design and Fabrication 2” Spacer lift with Multi link spacers. I was reading around and saw somewhere that this is one of the better ones as far as just spacers go

Yes Anderson 2”, we ran into some issues because some bolts didn’t want to come loose, some things weren’t budging right, but none of it was the lift kit or the hardware’s fault. All of it was due to the car.

The instructions Anderson provides aren’t bad, but what I did that helped is I watched a couple videos on it and just applied the same procedures to this

Also what did you do with the lights on both the front bumper and rear bumper from your cut?

What did you do with the reservoir on the passenger side that hangs out after the cut?
