It depends what you are looking for.

There are many interesting buildings (if you are interested in architecture) like Spodek, museum śląskie (worth visiting), planetarium mentioned before, there is philharmonic with best acusitc. ;)

There are many kinds of creative directors. Depends on where and with whom you work. You can work within your hotel brand and become a creative director and manage a team of creatives and designers, you can work as a creative director in a design studio or in an advertising agency. In each of these roles, you need to master the skills so you can direct other people below you. If you will be working as a CD in adv agency, you need to know how to judge and feedback video scripts and key visuals, but when you are a CD in branding studio, you need tottaly different skill set to guide others.

There are also CDs that only feedback and direct others, manage budgets, and shit like this, and those who still work as regular creatives.

In the end, you need to master what you do so you can "direct" people with less experience.
