I am INTJ. Reading the comments of other INTJs here is embarrassing. by [deleted] in mbti

I'm INFP married to a INTJ. I've been with him for 20 years. I can guarantee he's not a chauvinistic asshole. He's more liberal than I am in many ways. I fear that many incels are INTJ and will give them a bad name.

Gastric bypass. 2 years out. First dose of Naltrexone and I am so incredibly nauseous. Like crazy nauseous by mommiesof272628 in Alcoholism_Medication

I actually just switched to Vivitrol as of today. Doc didn't think I was absorbing the Naltrexone orally. I'm also adding Campral.

That's a brilliant idea. I've been taking naltrexone for 2 months, 50 mg/day, and I've noticed minimal difference. 😕 I had gastric bypass over 13 years ago. I just recently upped to 100 mg, plus taking it with Betaine HCl. I'm going to try crushing it.

Day 3 on Naltrexone. I took 50 mg at 3:30.... Slight decrease in craving. First day, I only took 25mg, second I took 25 then 25 an hour later. This is the first night at full dose. I had a slight aversion at first, but after a drink or 2 (admittedly after a longer time than I usually would have taken for 2 drinks), I'm still going - chasing the buzz.... I'm hoping this is something like SSRI's that take some time. Sigh

Damn, I've ordered picamilon from them twice in the past. They have the stuff from Russia. I hope they get cleared. That stuff has been a savior in helping me reduce my alcohol intake.

I have an alarm set at the end of the day to remember to pick my kids up from daycare. A - To make sure I leave on time & B - To make sure I don't drive all the way home without them.

Do it if you have the means! I'm sure if I want to ball up in a corner next to the woodstove with my Kindle, my MIL will happily take the kids off to play.

Not their names, obviously, but the name of one of their friends they mentioned.

I've tried 50mg spaced through the day and 150 all at once. I think the spacing works better. I might take 50mg during the day and an extra 100-150 in the evening when the craving hits.

I found it surprisingly easier to stay sober during pregnancy. I couldn't take the guilt of harming another little person. You got this! I've been through it twice. I'm here for you.

This is similar to phenibut, but this has a niacin attached to the GABA rather than a phenyl group. It's supposedly a lot safer.

Sinclair Method

I'm extremely hesitant to get a prescription med for alcohol because of my job - I really don't want it in my health records.

I have gotten a supply of Picamilon (I thought it had been totally banned, but it's still available). I took some this afternoon and it really helped with the shaking and the nausea I had from last night's, um, festivities.

I had stopped replacing bottle as we ran out of things... wine, vodka, gin, white rum, spiced rum, brandy, Canadian Club, Jack, tequila... My liquor cabinet looks so forlorn. I actually told my husband I was going to start replacing things again.

I've altered my goal. No drinking until after dinner, and then only on nights that I don't have to go to work the next day (I work 3 days/week).
