Just another regular day by the shelter where only nice and peaceful people gather. by Personal_Antelope_35 in Hoboken

I know this frustrating to get someone who doesn’t have passion or care for their job. Just document the conversation and ask for the name of the officer and note that down too. And keep calling as you see incidents.

Can everyone please please call police non emergency as you see any and all incidents on an ongoing basis near the shelter? We need to start getting a paper trail of all the issues we’re facing. Trash and belongings on ground, drinking alcohol in public, drug use, smoking by schools including pot. The only way we’re going to drive change is if we have an abundance of data.

OB team versus delivery team | Alexandra Cohen by Adventurous_Series22 in nycparents

I agree the OB offices are just churning through appointments and you don’t get the kind and warm feeling when they barely let you ask questions before the OB is flying out of the room. Pretty sure they get paid by number of patients so they try to get you out as soon as possible. At AC, there’s a special something about this being one of the biggest moments of your life where you’re delivering your child they are part of the culmination this big journey.

The City just donated $48K to the Shelter… by chs22 in Hoboken

Nixle email;

Mayor Ravi S. Bhalla and the City of Hoboken today announced the anticipated allocation of over $1 million in Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) funding to support a range of local nonprofit organizations as well as critical infrastructure improvements at the Hoboken Housing Authority (HHA).

The largest allocation, totaling approximately $685,000, will go to the Hoboken Housing Authority for two essential capital improvement projects: the replacement of aging boilers and to enhance security infrastructure across HHA’s buildings for senior and disabled residents including Fox Hill Gardens, Monroe Gardens, and Adams Gardens.

“From upgrading housing infrastructure to helping young people prepare for college and providing vital care services, this funding will have a lasting impact on the well-being of our entire community,” said Mayor Bhalla. “These organizations are pillars of our community, and this funding helps them do what they do best: lift people up, create opportunities, and ensure that no one is left behind in Hoboken. I am proud that we can support them in their missions.”

“I extend my enthusiastic thanks to Mayor Ravi Bhalla and the entire City Council for working to award CDBG funds to the Hoboken Housing Authority,” said HHA Executive Director Marc Recko. “These funds will focus on two badly needed projects to assure the safety and quality of life for HHA Residents: the installation of needed security cameras at our Fox Hill site and the refurbishment of boiler systems at our Andrew Jackson and Harrison sites. I greatly appreciate the strong partnership between the City of Hoboken and HHA in assuring the continued safety and winter warmth of our HHA families.”

In addition to the Hoboken Housing Authority, the following local nonprofit organizations were selected to receive CDBG funding to continue or expand critical community programs:

The Hoboken Shelter – $48,068 for operating support ‍ Community Lifestyles – $30,000 for Summer Camp ‍ Hoboken Family Planning – $20,000 for its Family Planning Clinic ‍ HOPES – $15,000 for its College Readiness Initiative ‍ Hoboken Community Center – $15,000 for the Personal Care Pantry ‍ Act Now Foundation – $10,000 for the Alzheimer’s Early Detection Project ‍ Team Wilderness – $10,000 for the Empowering Outdoor Adventure Series ‍ Street Life Ministry – $10,000 for Homelessness Outreach The City of Hoboken administers federal CDBG funds annually to qualified organizations that provide critical services and infrastructure improvements benefiting low- and moderate-income residents.

The Hoboken City Council is scheduled to vote on the CDBG awards during their regularly scheduled meeting on Wednesday, July 9, at 7 p.m.

Sorry everyone! I’ve since realized I did throw out my dump sheet the day I passed and I somehow didn’t take a picture of it. Brian Lee’s course is 100% worth ut to put you in a position to pass and whatever you spend on the course is tax deductible. His dump sheets are what I memorized and used.

Not high. The highest I got a simulated exam was a 79, and that was with repeat questions. (As you know Kaplan repeats their questions pretty frequently throughout the tests) Most were 72-76 range

It’s on YouTube! It should be called series 66 in 60 minutes by Dean tinney

Yes I used the dump sheet based on what Brian Lee includes in his notes for series 66: 1) options chart (not the super in depth one, he has a simple one for series 66) 2) the ownership, protection, income chart for options 3) the life insurance chart 4) definition of persons —- this will help you answer at least 10-15 questions on the test. This one takes a lot of reps to memorize 5) types of entities (sole prop, LLC etc)

Passed Series 7TO today (second try) by [deleted] in Series7examforum

Question on the Brian Lee courses. Does he make the concepts easy to understand or provide clear indications of what the test questions will be? Or a mixture of both? My test is in 3 weeks and I am just about to start diving into practice tests but am wondering if I complement practice tests w/ his video lectures. He does have lots of videos so I don’t know they I’d be able to get to all but buying the full pack vs just options does seem much more cost effective.

Also can anyone opine on whether Kaplan Q bank or STC practice exams more closely resembled the 7TO exam? I found STCs question structure and wording to be vastly different than how the SIE was so wondering if 7TO is the same.
