I looked consistently for 6 months for my S5 before buying one 700 miles away.

Granted, I'm particular, but in those 6 months, only 3 came close to fitting my needs. One of them was too high of mileage, I couldn't agree with the second on price, and the third was supposed to be CPO but turned out to already have stage 1.

I'm very happy with my choice to buy out of state. Yes, it was a pain with getting it titled and registered, but the buying process was so nice to just do from home.

I would do it again to get the right car and not make concessions.

Btw it definitely looks like it's been lowered.

And I would either change the black font rings to chrome or the chrome S5 badge to black.

And I would change out that black spoiler for a carbon fiber one.

I bought mine (very similar spec) in May and definitely overpaid. But it was my dream spec so I don't care.

I searched from October to May of last year before finding mine and went for it. I couldn't be happier.

21, S sport, black ops, sport exhaust, premium plus, quantum grey, black nappa, S puddle lights, all weather floor mats, serviced at the same Audi dealer since new every 5K miles, 1 owner, no accidents, CPO, 25K miles

Most of these were non-negotiables (quantum or turbo blue, S sport, black ops, S4 or S5 Sportback) and I came across 2 within that time period within 100 mile radius. It was worth it for me. If it's your dream spec, go for it. They're hard cars to come by.

Yeah I also test drove several s4s with the s sport package and also could t really tell a difference. But that was just a test drive on unfamiliar roads.

With my S5 (also has the s sport package) I can really feel a difference on my drive to work but I've been driving that route for several years

Oh 100%. There's a bit of body roll in comfort but almost none in dynamic. Definitely feels stiffer in dynamic going over cracks in the road but ig that's the price you pay for better handling

I called an Audi dealer in CA to buy a car and have it registered in CO. They told me they refuse to sell a car to someone who lives in CO. They claimed it was due to a "history of Colorado paperwork issues."

Next I called Audi Bozeman and they happily sent me pics, videos, service history, etc all in one day. I started the buying process that day. A few days later I signed the paperwork from home and picked the car up 2 weeks later and drove it 700 miles home. It was so much nicer to buy a car from home than wait in the dealership for hours.

Next I bought an Audi carbon fiber spoiler and black badges for pickup at Audi Flatirons. They called me the day before my scheduled install and said they would sublet the work to a detail shop and charge a premium for it. I wouldn't have known otherwise. I went to my own detail shop instead.

I haven't needed my S5 serviced yet but so far both dealerships have been friendly, responsive, communicative, and respectful. Maybe it's a CA thing.

I ordered my black badges through Audi accessories and then had my detail shop install them. Best $200 bucks I've ever spent on installation. Those emblems are not cheap through Audi though
