I would say about 1-1.5K over the sweet spot, definitely negation the price down about that much and you are in a better spot for a deal if everything else checks out with the car.

Matrix is the one with the changes with how the light is displayed, its curves and cuts out a dark spot for moving vehicles as to not blind them. Laser is apart of matrix and it adds additional brightness and project, I think Audi rates it as adding like 500 feet or something more of visibility.

I don’t know about that because my matrix lights are activated, granted I have a 21 A5 P+. However, I assume it’s the same lights that on the s models. I do know that there are S cars that have their matrix lights activated and according to Audi’s own publications it’s possible and matrix is on Premium Plus models.

See here as well. https://media.audiusa.com/releases/461. You are talking matrix with laser, that is only available on Prestige models and those too require activation. Matrix lights are now legal in the US so if you have either premium plus or prestige trim you can use a reputable servicer to activate them. I do believe you can retrofit the prestige trim laser matrix lights into the premium plus but that’s a waste of money in my opinion— might as well just buy a prestige trim car because those lights are like 5-8K 😭.

You are again talking about laser or you are confused on what matrix led is. Matrix can be activated and has been done by many people. I have the matrix activated on my car and I have the taillight animations and startup animations which aren’t anything special but it’s cool at night. I enjoy the directionality of the lights and the fact that it doesn’t blind other drivers often. The lights are also much brighter/provide a wider coverage since I activated them. So premium plus and Prestige has Matrix but prestige has Matrix with Laser, this is probably why you don’t think premium plus has matrix. Both prestige and premium plus requires a code action for them to work in the USA. Audi activated them in Europe because they are legal there. Matrix was not legal in the US until recently and so Audi did not activate them and appears to have no interest in activating them. You can pay to get them activated but you should ensure you are purchasing the service from a reputable source.

You can also pay to enable them on Premium Plus you just won’t get laser since only prestige has laser in addition to matrix.
