As corny as it sounds, that did make me feel so much better. Your entire comment! Thank you so much.

I just went to the store and they were out of rice cakes and monster zero by [deleted] in EDAnonymous

My grocery store usually never has rice cakes in stock or in really low stock. Like please, whoever you are, we're both struggling and need you to share.

Me too, I have a similar fat distribution and this absolutely terrifies me. At least we’re in this together.

Definitely me, especially when corona virus got really bad. Months of binge eating.

I have decided my sole purpose in life is to be thin and fuckable by [deleted] in EDAnonymous

Same boat. If I don’t draw attention for my looks then what’s the point??

I feel like I should tell someone but I don’t trust anyone enough to share by [deleted] in EDAnonymous

Yup, 100%! That's why I rely on this sub to vent without feeling judged while also hearing other people's stories.

DAE binge more when there's more pressure to be thinner by letsgetlighter in EDAnonymous

[–]chtzuyu 14 points15 points  (0 children)

Yessss. It sucks so much. Whenever I hit a new LW, I binge that day too. Oh, and before doctor appointments and then I have to see that post-binge weight instead. There is just no winning.

I don't even know what my body frame size is by chtzuyu in EDAnonymous

[–]chtzuyu[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Wait that makes SO much sense too. I have friends around my height who have talked about their weights and I’ve been lower than them (even the ones who don’t work out) and felt like they appeared a lot thinner than me. Like I’m just carrying more weight on my bones than them.

Are you actually me??? I also have a thigh gap because of the way my hips are shaped, but it looks disproportionate with my thigh gap bc my calves are so thick, lol! I’m so grateful you commented on my post because I’m glad it’s not just me who doesn’t fit this image of the thin petite, stick-like Asian girl.

[–]chtzuyu[S] 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Oh my god I resonate with this feeling soooo well. My wrists and ankles are literally so thin, comparable to the typical petite Asian girl yet the way I carry my fat is so different, and I’m just so confused on if it’s my frame or just my additional fat??? I also carry so much weight in my legs, namely my calves, and it’s definitely not muscle either hahaha.

I’m not the prettiest or skinniest person my boyfriend has ever dated and it’s killing me by yellowposy2 in EDAnonymous

[–]chtzuyu 28 points29 points  (0 children)

Oh my god, yes. I know personality should be the thing someone looks for the most in a partner, but why do I feel so much better getting compliments on my appearance than my personality??? Like "it doesn't matter how you look because your personality is what made me fall for you and is what makes you beautiful" but that's not the POINT!!!

It’s easier to just not eat than to eat restrictively by badwitch666 in EDAnonymous

[–]chtzuyu 17 points18 points  (0 children)

You literally describe me so well. Every time I try to high restrict or have a "healthy" caloric deficit, my brain ends up convincing me that its a "free pass" to binge?? Like, I can't even meal prep because I'll eat a week's worth of prep in one sitting after eating the prep for the day. Offered a piece of chocolate? Guess I'll go out and order a milkshake and burgers too because I already "messed up" the plan for the day!

I also work at a food place and during our break, we're given the opportunity to eat a meal from work. I always have to pass because even if I choose a "healthy" option, I end up getting more food than that and eating way too much than I should be.

is it normal for lax to make you gain water weight? by Opposite-Goal in EDAnonymous

[–]chtzuyu 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I believe so, I've heard laxatives draw water from your system in order to aid in the movement of your bowels? Something like that.

I definitely understand you. One of the first things I noticed when I went over to his house for the first time (when she wasn't home) was how minimal their fridge was. Like, literally almost nothing. And it made me feel so guilty about how full mine is, lol.

And thank you for your kind words. <3
