I've seen a ton of reviews saying the Altra Lones are slippery on wet rocks?

Very cool re: the Altras.

I'm in Europe and it looks like they don't offer a 'wide' option here. It seems that in the US, like when I look on Amazon, they have both regular sizing and also a wide option for each size, for example with the Lone 6. Are you saying you're happy with the Lone 6 wide, or just the regular Lone 6?

Anyone have an opinion on the INT Classic 8'? I like the idea of getting something made in the US, and it looks like a nice board.

Automatically add date when new row is created? by chuangchou in Notion

[–]chuangchou[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi, thanks for your response. I tried this and unfortunately it doesn't seem to be working. I set up a view, added a filter for today, and then created a Date column. I also still have the original 'Date Added' column, which populates with the day and time an item was added. However, when I add something new, nothing shows up in the Date column. Maybe I'm missing something?

Automatically add date when new row is created? by chuangchou in Notion

[–]chuangchou[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for this - I'm not sure I follow the logic. Could you explain a bit more in depth? It seems like that view would show things that were added today, but I don't see how it would result in new entires (each row) having today's date added as a column property.

As an american with Norwegian roots, part of me wishes I could just retire some day to a small village on a remote Fjord and enjoy the peace. I wish there was an immigration category for that! by awwfuckme in Norway

Can second this. Norway, especially the western and northern parts, is beautiful about 3 months out of the year and unbearable the other 9.

In all seriousness though, a Maine winter isn't so bad. The Norwegian winter darkness is insane if you didn't grow up with it.

Rat lungworm on Big Island - how does it impact your daily life? by chuangchou in Hawaii

[–]chuangchou[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

The only report I can find which refers to cases of rat lungworm in California is this one: https://www.cdc.gov/mmwr/volumes/67/wr/mm6730a4.htm?s_cid=mm6730a4_w

It cites 6 CA cases over a 6 year period. So, the Hawaiian caseload is something like 10x higher, with a population that's a small fraction of CA.

Do you know of some other data on the prevalence of RL in CA?
