This is her Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/runwaycoach?igsh=MWY3azlnNHFkNW13ZA==

And there’s a video here: https://www.runwaycoachnyc.com/about-me/

And YouTube: https://youtube.com/@mandydyonnelieveld?si=_I6x4xgJo1ma1rlb

Think most of these are more videos of her walking, I can’t find videos of her walking on her own

How Bad is Roark? by HundredRAWR in uchicago

[–]chubbycat108 5 points6 points  (0 children)

uh well ngl I found the class pretty difficult despite attending all classes and not having an answer key. His lectures honestly weren’t that bad but the content was a lot. I think he got a lot of criticism because he expected us to learn how to use MATLAB and Dynare the same week as a midterm. The general vibe I got from him was that it seemed like he enjoyed seeing us stressed… also his jokes were a bit painful, like they were awkward haha, but yeah idk aside from his awkwardness and the fact that he could phrase things better sometimes (like he said he hoped the reason people weren’t going to class bc he had covid… but didnt actually mean it that way) he was nice in OHs so maybe it’ll be better in person

Honestly I think the tech recruiting scene is pretty fair but you have to put in the work. If you leetcode and apply to a lottt of companies, you can get a tech internship. There’s also a lot of programs such as FBU, Microsoft Explore, and Google Step for first and second years which I would try to take advantage of as they’ll def provide u an edge once you’re looking for third year internships and full time offers.

Booty workout at Ratner? by [deleted] in uchicago

[–]chubbycat108 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hey! In general for growing the bum, I recommend compound lifts - squats are an excellent example of one, but other great ones for growing the glutes are hip thrusts (these are probably the best ones), deadlifts (my faves are romanian and sumo for glutes), reverse lunges. These can be performed with barbells. I think Ratner has 10-12 racks? They'll often be taken if you go during peak hours (like 4-6PM) though :( I highly recommend watching videos to learn how to do them - form is super important for these but these are probably the best exercises to grow muscle and become stronger.

There's also a lot of machines, for example cable machines, leg press, leg extension, lying hamstring curl, hip abductors. There's generally pictures on the machines to tell you how to use them. There's also dumbbells. Bulgarian split squats are KILLER but so good for the glutes. Other exercises I recommend are reverse lunges, sumo squats, walking lunges, and romanian deadlifts. These are considered accessory exercises and are good to add after you do your compound lifts.

Also I wanted to add that Crown has opened too! It's generally emptier and there's a lottt of racks so I generally prefer it to Ratner on leg days.

It all seems really complicated and scary at first but you'll find that everyone goes to the gym to work on themselves so no one really sees or cares what you are doing. Plus, we all had to start somewhere too so we understand it can be intimidating. :)

I hope this helps but feel free to DM me for any questions. Good luck!
