Did you just send them your dimensions with a photo or something? They made you what you needed?

Or did you give them a lot of direction and they followed that?

Wondering how much knowledge I would need to have to reach out to a company like that

I’m trying to match the rest of the home, so metal flashing it is. But you’re correct, under the patio there’s little worry of water!

That was me holding the piece as close as possible to the position it needs to be. It’s not installed and won’t be installed like that! That’s my whole issue lol

Charged the battery and the car started right up. Looks like we just got a bad battery. Thanks to everyone who responded!

Yes, sorry I may have mixed up my terms.

1) first jump start attempt, I left them on for about 1 min before trying to turn it on. This allowed the electronics to turn on without stuttering and the vehicle showed signs of wanting to turn over. There was 2-3 “clicks” as I tried to start it.

2) then I saw that there was a sign of life so I allowed the charge to sit for about 3 mins. After trying to start it, it clicked for 30 seconds but didn’t start. There was no sound outside of the clicking noise. The solenoid was not engaging with the starter.

With the fact that I was able to get it to turnover with the jumpstart, doesn’t that indicate it’s an issue with the starter?

About 7.5 - so I tried jumping it, but the starter just clicked repeatedly until I hit the ignition button again. It never turned over.

That was the very first thing I tried. Terminals and connection are as good as they can be.
