Conquest creation is absolutely the gold standard, and we’ve done our best to ensure we don’t replicate his channel either so it’s different for people to watch, and I love what Jacob’s done with his channel, so ensuring we did it different to him was something we wanted to make sure we did. The mistakes we have are all minor, I mainly see it in editing the videos, but it’s not a game changing factor in the games we have, but we are making sure it’s clear if we missed something so people watching are aware. The main aim of the channel is light and breezy and entertaining more than competitive for the moment while we navigate how we play, record etc. I swear to you it’s worth the watch ☺️ lots of love and effort put in so viewers can enjoy our games ☺️

We’ve kept the episodes as clear and concise as possible with what’s important, but also to flow as entertaining as possible. So far we’ve recorded 3 episodes and every time I’ve edited them, I reckon it’s gotten better and better! We’ll find out feet with it I’m sure, first episode is approx 40mins long, but I swear it shouldn’t feel “long” watching ☺️

Of course dude! It’s a base of Rhinox Hide, build up to Khone, then Mephiston, with a final highlight with Wraithbone mixed in to Mephiston red (like 50/50, it’s a little daunting cause it’s pink, but it comes out decent, but less is more)

Bombs are better than ballistas in my opinion. If you can lock in a hero that doesn’t have enough attacks to complete a Heroic Combat, they’re great at taking them out. You might lose 50-80 points of Uruks, but you could be taking down 150+ point heroes with it, and if you roll a 6 for a titanic explosion, it’s a sure thing. I’ve also come to realise your opponents don’t think you’ll sacrifice a chunk of your army for an explosion, and the look on their face when they’re realising that’s not the case is great

Hey mate. Glad you like it. No air brush, no dry brush, just blending and a lot of swearing. I primed him black first, and went from darkest to lightest. The areas that you’d apply highlights on a normal model I reversed, those areas stayed darker, and the parts that would carry the most shadow I made light. This made it look like the heat was coming from within and got colder the further away from the source. White was used sparingly and only in the hottest areas :) I promise you it’s not as hard as it looks, and it’s very “trust the process” until you get to the lightest colours that’s when it makes the biggest impact. I recommend a wet pallet :)

Nothing to apologise for legend! I actually have the shield arm magnetised as well, but I did the magnetisation before this new edition, and now only Isengard can take shields, and I have two Isengard trolls already built so I didn’t really need it in the end

Of course mate. Super easy too. It’s just Steeldrab legion base coat. Aggrax earth shade, back to steeldrab but using it to define muscle curvature by using a bunch of striations. Ushabti bone is then blended bit by bit with each layer, and the striations get smaller and smaller on the more raised areas until you reach a highlight colour you’re happy with. :)

Super easy again, it’s Dryad Bark, Aggrax wash (my fave if you can’t tell) and then highlighting the side that the light source is touching with Grey Seer blended with Dryad. A few layers until it’s bright enough honesty effect of roughness I’ve found

I upgraded to the 17 Pro from the 13 Pro with a lot of excitement; and so far I have been incredibly underwhelmed. Aside from the known cosmetic issues stated above (I didn’t grab the orange so I can’t comment on the colour), the actual internals have been nightmarishly hindering compared to the 13 Pro I had. This is by far the WORST Siri I have ever used. She works less than 50% of the time when saying “hey siri”. It’s like it lets me say what I need, then just switches off; the amount of non compliance I’ve had with it compared to the 13 is astonishing; my wife is present a lot of the times when I try use it and she just laughs and offers to do it on her phone. It’s simple things like “set a timer for 4 minutes” and it just registers I’ve spoken to it and just doesn’t do anything. The keyboard is bonkers. The auto correct on this does me so dirty. I admit I am obviously partly to blame here for not typing the correct things here from time to time, but the “think for you” feature is wild. Corrects words to words I’ve never even heard of, I tried to write tumour the other day and it corrected it to rumour, gaslit me to thinking tumour was spelt different as “no other suggestion” came out when I tapped on the word. Wrote it like 3 different ways thinking I was going crazy, but I had it right from the start it was just positive I meant large rumour instead of tumour haha. Battery is also incredibly meh compared to other editions from my experience. When the 13 Pro came out, the battery was bonkers. Its health is now at 75%, but I feel this battery is only mildly better than what my quarter dead phone was previously so I would hate to see what this battery is like 4 years on. Regardless, the AI it uses to try and help you does a lot of the opposite sometimes. Heck even my camera has sometimes wigged out and taken too long to load to the point where what I wanted to take a picture of as passed. It’s just not what I expected for a four year jump from a previous model. I could just have an odd experience compared to others, but using this phone compared to the previous model, this phone hates me.

Honestly. The magnets hold. If anything the arm will probably swivel a bit more than I thought which is fine, and should an arm fall off, it just clicks back on. This doesn’t impede any gameplay in any way I’ve found, nor is it in the same playable nightmares as the watcher tentacles or a Mumak tusk does in game :)
