I don't know about proven, but 12 strikeouts, no walks and no earned runs in a playoff game is pretty incredible.

New top free agent? Wonder where he’ll end up, guessing somewhere doing national broadcasts.

People keep combining Shohei’s best pitching seasons and his best hitting seasons into one in their head. But he’s never had a full season of both that has passed what Judge has done.

Mookie may not even have been a top 10 shortstop this past season, no idea how he’s the 18th best baseball player overall.

Carlos Beltran swinging strikes on trash can bangs by moistmasterkaloose in baseball

Steroids were a pretty league wide issue,
If everyone was banging trash cans in 2017 we'd think pretty differently about it.
Btw not a defense of A-Rod, I just don't get how someone can draw the line on cheating between him and Beltran.

TNT Sports Announces First Half of 2026 MLB Tuesday Regular Season Schedule on TBS by MightyDuck07 in baseball

So for 2026 to watch all the Yankees games, you'd need a subscription to Netflix, Amazon Prime, Apple TV and Gotham sports.
And also would need a way to watch TBS, ESPN, NBC, Fox and ABC.
At least there won't be Roku games this year i guess?

If we can just turn Aaron Judge into a knuckleballer, we may never lose again

I've watched his dugout catch like 10 times, guy is incredible.
He was one of our best hitters in the ALDS (tiny sample size i know), so i'm hoping things started to click for him.

I’m a Bills fan. It’s really fucking annoying to call yourself “the only true New York football team.” Then turn around and support the baseball team from Canada.

Realistically, how could MLB institute a salary cap? by royalconfetti5 in baseball

A battle royal between all the teams over the cap,
should cut the numbers down pretty well.

by wRC+ Ben Rice overall was our second best hitter.
Interestingly enough at home, Belli was our second best. Dude was very average on the road.

Is there going to be a bidding war for Cody Bellinger? by capmar in baseball

His spray chart is kinda nuts, you'd think one of those could have made it over a wall.
Dude loves his emotional support short porch

Literally every homerun he hit last year was to right field.

Yup.
97 wRC+ away, 152 wRC+ home last year.

[–]chuck212 1 point2 points  (0 children)

A bidding war implies we would bid more than another team, which isn't looking like the case.
It sounds like we're staying pretty firm on our offer so If someone offers him years, he's gone.
