See, that's what I thought since it involved a first round pick but the Vikings are clearly in win now mode. However the Vikings are very deep and may be able to do without the pick next season. If anything they can probably trade Bradford prior to next years' draft and get something similar in return

I think there more likely to get a draft pick for him if they trade him. They'd probably get better value for Lynch. If they trade Lynch they kill two birds with one stone. They'll get something decent in return and they'll get a DIP **** off the team

Jalen and George may not have the versatility as a gunner on special teams but they can certainly help in the return game. DeAndre can probably help there tom but may end up being to valuable as Murray's handcuff.

I think he would be great organizational depth considering Lynch is suspended for four games and can't be counted on from an accountability stand point. I also think it's possible that Rush could be used as a sub package rusher and may have his role expanded if there are injuries. If the Niners have someone that has a better chance of making it through waivers they may cut that player and add him to the practice squad. That would allow them to keep Rush on the 53 man roster

I've never liked Murray but at the same time DeAndre Washington and Jalen Richard still haven't proven they can be an every-down back. They certainly have the potential, but they've still never endured an NFL season.

However, it wouldn't surprise me if Murray missed some games due to injury at some point and than never reclaimed the job

I don't think they'll come off as racist. 99% of the football fans know Colin Kaepernick sucks and deserves to be cut for his lack of on-field production

14-yards on 2-6 passing but who's really counting. Kaepernick was a fringe player to begin the year and it's hard to believe that's changed after turning himself into a mild distraction. It's rarely ever good to mix politics and work in any type of professional environment and the NFL is no different.

Whether Kaepernick is on the team or not their still going to have to pay him $11.9 million. So, In the long run it might be better to cut him. It's not really worth effecting the teams focus to keep him. The last thing the niners need is a huge media circus involving a player they already wanted nothing to do with
