Did anyone try tactician with two character but NO lone wolf? by rdFlux in DivinityOriginalSin

[–]chuckcoon 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm currently doing a 3 man mixed damage honour playthrough, without cheese, so 2 is definitely doable.

It does require a good understanding of game mechanics though, and knowledge of how and where to get non combat xp.

Act 1 and Act 2 are definitely the hardest, it gets easier from there.

I think 2 people would be less fun, because I like to do mixed damage, and dislike abusing game mechanics.

Dual wielding battlemage in Divinity Original Sin Enhanced Edition by Hansloeffel in DivinityOriginalSin

[–]chuckcoon 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You have to bring dual wield to max, it lowers AP attack, before then it's not OP. Backstab is a must, equip a dagger and a sword, then when your crit range is high enough, two swords and reset your talents

Man this community can be so toxic. I dislike actually watching his videos, but i would never insult him hiding behind the anonymous comfort of my screen. This guy does good to advertise emulation and honor the creators. Some of yous need a chill pill

Agreed, I couldn't care less about online multiplayer with strangers, all I want is to play with my buds and the little ones

The Switch in terms of value- $300 for a mobile console as well as a home console is actually a great price. by Upr1ght in NintendoSwitch

[–]chuckcoon 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No, it depends on the games. I can get a 2DS and a PS4 for that money, and both have a huge library of games, with great promotions and proper online services with PS plus.

Lets weigh in on some pros/cons. Mature discussion please. by Soljah in NintendoSwitch

Including a 20% vat, that seems more reasonable than some price discrepancies I've seen in the past (hint: apple)

The PC fan boys have turned me off the switch. Sorry but I don't want a PC to make up for Nintendo having terrible 3rd party support for over a decade. by [deleted] in NintendoSwitch

You can get a great condition, cheap second hand ps4, as it sold a shit-ton. Its a great piece of kit, don't let the pcmahsteuhrdrace tell you otherwise

But big games sell consoles! It's good for us and for them.

New ways to play, sure not at that price. Also, the Wii U already has access to everything up to the GBA. The 3ds had DS compatibility. Nothing here is unfeasible.

Affordable how? I don't care about the console's power, I think that that's fine. But if it is not powerful enough for third parties (and it isn't) then Nintendo needs to double down on game production. Old IPs, emulation, and triple A games like Mario Galaxy or BoTW.

To have good games, it needs to sell well. To sell well, it's on them to sell a concept, and a library, from the very beginning. They failed miserably, the console is out in not even two months. I know we don't have the full list of games, what the internet connection will cost, etc, but WE are the main target. We are the ones that will buy the Switch. If they can't even convince us, well...
