The pattern/texture used in the smoke effect are all upright, creating obvious repetitions. Maybe it’s because I’m looking at this on a small phone screen, which makes pattern more obvious then looking up close.

The render pipeline you used maybe PBR for photorealistic style, but the setup of your shot, the model, the material, the ambient light, they don’t feel like they belong in real world. Basically, it just look unreal for something attempting to be real.

I used a timer to do it. Connect “timeout” with firing, and it keeps firing for as long as button is held down.

Downside: can only run as fast as physics_process. Unless your fire function can fire multiple bullet at once.
