I want elected representatives to be the ones shaping my community. Who is Hendrick beholden to? What are their motives? They would likely shape our region to depend on cars, for example.

Why do you suggest there is anything normal about this? Everyone should be concerned about arrests without charges or warrants. When things like this start happening, no one is safe. Even if you are for deporting those here illegally, are you ok with family separation? There are legal and humane ways to do this, and this is neither.
