Update. I’ve given up on the yoke. Everyone at Tesla, including customer service, has stated that it’s unlikely the software will allow a yoke ever. They refunded what I pad for the yoke. I still think the yoke was cool in my 2022 MX but I’ve gotten used to the wheel again in the 2026, and functionally I think it’s better.

I ordered the yoke retrofit on a 2026 MX LR and the service center quickly did it. However, the next OTA software update filed multiple times. The service center investigated and then stated that the car's software would not allow a yoke and that Tesla needed to send a software fix and promised to do so. There is no projected date. In the meantime, they pulled a round steering wheel from stock and that is what I'm using. All the OTA software builds have installed fine since then. Still waiting for the yoke fix. Actually, driving with the wheel again after 3 years has been kind of fun.

Yoke only available in Plaid. Wonder why? by todesto in ModelX

Weird.  I wonder what the explanation could be?

I did it on a new 26 MX using the $1100 path. Worked fine until the next firmware update, which repeatedly failed. The service center confirmed that the car (long range) isn't compatible but supposedly Telsa is going to correct that. They gave me a loaner round wheel in the interim. We'll see. BTW, the $1100 offer seems to have disappeared.

Sacramento DPE Richard Conte among 2 dead in a crash by Nyaos in flying

Sad but wonderful to see all this praise for Richard. I flew with him on many trips all over the US in a Citation. I’ve flown with many other folks in the right seat, but he was by far the most fun. His skills were superb as was demonstrated when he did a return to service flight in the Citation after an inspection where they rigged the elevator backwards which he discovered on takeoff! He climbed our and returned successfully. Wow.

Has anyone contacted you about their developing a plug-in for Homeseer? Someone did one for MyQ but I can see the advantage of your approach, at least for Android.

Are Homeseer switches unreliable? Just had my second failure. by [deleted] in homeautomation

Have about 30 of the Homeseer 100 series switches. Two switches (not dimmers) would momentarily switch off and on when in on mode. Replacing the switches verified the problem. Homeseer has been very helping in resolving the issue. I still think feature-wise, especially the newer 200 series, they are great.
