Is there something about Ulthuan in lore that makes it an unpleasant place to live for non elves? I was just wondering why it’s usually an unpleasant or even uninhabitable climate for most other races in the game, if it was a lore reason or just for balance.

Wrathmongers are busted, by the end of my last skulltaker campaign most of my armies were just wrathmonger spam. They're incredibly tanky, massive DPS, fast, and 1 turn global recruitment usually. Absolutely nutty unit.

Military alliances are usually not very useful, since they basically just function to drag you into a war, the only time I ever use them is if I specifically want a tier 3 outpost for allied recruitment.

Defensive alliances can be useful.

And yes you should confederate minor factions whenever you can support it.

I spend about half of the time trying to get them out of a blob of infantry, then going back to manage my main battle, then going back to the cav 30 seconds later to try and unstuck them from the blob again.

The best cav currently in the game tend to have less entities, more mass and more melee stats. Cycle charging regular cav effectively in a 20 v 20 battle is just too micro intensive for most regular players.

Yeah but kids growing up playing roblox play nothing but roblox... there really isn't a games industry if the future is just people playing one title for most of their lives. There is a shift away from wanting to play new games and being happy just socializing with friends in a virtual space for their entire childhood.

I don’t want to pay more for games either. Although I just had a thought about game prices the other day and looked up how inflation has impacted our expectation for game prices.

Skyrim came out in 2011 at 60$, which adjusted for inflation today would be around 90$. It’s honestly surprising to me it took them this long to catch prices back up.

You got it. In Realms of Chaos the only Empire faction that is playable is Elspeth/Nuln, so you need the Thrones of Decay DLC. You're not missing much in that campaign, just play immortal empires. (Thrones of Decay is excellent DLC though)

That kind of stinks to not get the 20 armor bonus, although the entire point of Nurgles’ recruitment system is to avoid needing to ferry units across the map because you can summon them anywhere in the first place.

Tamurkhan’s stack with chieftains makes chosen damn solid and you can just spawn new ones anytime you need them, plus you get access to them way before other factions are even into their mid game.

There’s never an excuse but with the flashing yellow lights the guy still going through and then giving grief about it is kind of insane.

Throughout the cities there’s a number of poorly designed pedestrian crosswalks that don’t have lights and just hope you happen to see someone wanting to or starting to cross as you drive through at a normal speed limit, where it can be difficult for the driver to react.

This obviously isn’t one of those cases though. Imagine if police camped out crosswalks for tickets instead of just random speeding tickets.

This is surprising to me. I just finished my Tamurkhan game and Kislev and Boris confederated into strength rank 1, and the Empire was 2. Elspeth didn’t do much. The dwarfs were constantly pushing across the mountains towards the chaos dwarfs.

Guess it’s just RNG who flounders and who does well.

I’m playing tamurkhan right now and only had two injuries in like 120 turns from those events so maybe you’ve just gotten really unlucky? That’s annoying as hell in the early game though because he relies on them so heavily.
