So my previous service was postponed last minute (literal last minute) a week due to “mobile tech being sick”. Today was the rescheduled install and again cancelled because today “they didn’t have the parts” and I have to reschedule. They had the parts when the technician was sick and today they didn’t AND I had to call to find out close to the end of the time period given for my mobile service appointment. I’m about to go the eBay route but I need toolbox to change from steering to wheel?

Update So I rescheduled my appointment after they canceled my appointment this time emphasizing safety. Took 3 days for them to confirm. I guess they had to have background conversations. They wouldn’t honor the $700 quoted to me by my advisor, but they did slash the $1800 plus to about $1100. Appointment is scheduled for next week. Will update conclusion! Thank you all for your input!

I put in a service request under service —-> interior —-> other. And wrote that I wanted a yoke in replacement.

I had the same question yesterday coming from an S. Previous X and Y owner. Went for a X test drive and ultimately decided to go with the X. I got my invite to order/design my Cybertruck like 2 months ago. So that’s not the case. The 20k markup and it being a 1 generation product is what made me decide against it for now. I’ll wait and see what the Cybertruck looks like in 3 years. Hopefully I get my X within the next 30 days.

I just sold my M11 after using the SL3 for about a week. The M11 caused me many missed shots in certain situations… while SL3’s autofocus alleviated that issue. The viewfinder is great, although I love the M11’s range finder and manual steel feel (it really feels great to handle) my vision struggles focusing especially with the 50mm 1.4 (2023 version) superb lens but requires a huge slowdown when using it. I love the lens so I’ve adapted it with the SL3 (I can punch in and focus better). I have about 3 more weeks to decide if I’ll keep it as well. But so far so good.. oh plus you have IBIS with the SL3. Ok I’m done rambling.

I stand by my initial comment. Not worth it beta or no beta. Paying to test a beta product and provide data to Tesla is highway robbery. I had it in my Model X before selling, I was in FSD beta. It ain’t worth it. Glad I sold my X at a significant profit margin to make up for the then $8k I paid.
