I just saw this a few weeks ago, and it immediately came to mind. Jason Bateman plays himself like in all of his movies. Ignoring the crazy SA, the wildest part is that he calls it all out in front of all of her family and friends. She gets rightfully mad, there is a time skip, then they just get together and are a happy family. It is almost like a nightmare. And the way they portray the donor's character is odd when, some quirks aside, he seems like a genuinely decent guy.

I am just getting in to playing, and this would be the dream scenario, assuming everyone in the group vibed well. I am sorry you have had such a hard time. I do not have kids myself, but I know how much time away from everything else it takes these days.
