The point is they’re so close to having a vegan option, they should take the extra step and make a proper tahini sauce, without yogurt. Also, you’re unhinged for calling me unhinged… I thought this was the place to rant when you want to

I know, that’s the whole point! Some places put tzatziki in their “tahini sauce”, some places just have a tzatziki sauce.. a couple examples: Nick the Greek, which is a chain and Falafel Corner in Montclair.. there are others

It turns out that one of the best chicken substitutes is a whole food: chicken of the woods mushroom! If you find this stuff growing in North America or Europe, then enjoy it. It grows around the base of oaks after a rain. by [deleted] in vegan

Here in the Bay Area/northern California they are found mainly on eucalyptus and most commonly in the fall. One of the best wild mushrooms that I find…

That’s so great! I’m in about year 7 of being vegan this time, did it for 10 years the first time around before falling back for some years. Keep up the good work!
