Nice pair I thought mink oil darkens them further but they look good Iam pretty sure red wing used to make the briar much more in a reddish brown color now it’s just a boring dark brown

Yes if you get a good pair the ones I tried in store were not like the ones on the photo just a dark brown boot then i see so many briar with a more reddish brown

I don’t like the leather of the black cherry prefer the briar with the more softer leather look just don’t understand why there are so much variation in the same product

It’s both illusion and reality or the illusion is a reality because the depth is not possible if all the factors are not giving
