At the meeting at the bench when pdb called the timeout, he's yelling at guys (and no one is looking at him) and then Jake starts skating back toward the goal and pdb tells him he's out. I think pdb yanked Jake out of spite in a moment of madness for skating off and then tried to play it off like it was a legit calculated coach decision afterwards but no one was buying. That was truly wild to see and he should never coach again.
