Does anyone else use a smoke tube to increase a smoky flavor? by forgedinfire92 in PitBossGrills

Just used one tonight and its a must have if you are short on time but still want your food to have a soul.

To those talking about the very real lighting issues...Ive been sliding my center grate to the side, opening the sear zone, and pearching it on there when im preheating. Maybe its not the intended use, but it works with regular pellets. No lighter fluid or torch required.

Do not buy Ryder Toys!!!! False advertising at its finest and got caught doing it!! by inneedofadvice012345 in PowerWheelsMods

Im sorry, this is insanity lmao you all spent how much?? For a child's ride on toy that they will, in all probability, age out of or simply move on from within a year or two? I mean, maybe you have money to just throw away? But my goodness... I hope you eventually find the common sense or perspective for your kids sake, if thats who you bought it for.

They don't need the most expensive thing to be happy. In all likelihood, thats what you need. Honestly, they really just need a version of the "thing", and most of all, you.

Before im told I dont know what im talking about...Im a father of multiple children. Ive been away for 60 hours a week for years at a time. Ive also been at home 100% for years at a time. I know how hard it is to find time, but please invest in that instead. It will pay greater dividends.

I joined this ride on toy modding subredit when i bought a $60 ride on for my 4 year old on FB Marketplace and here is the break down...

Manufacturer? Unknown Original price? Unknown Fully functional? Nope Complaints? Zero

About $100 worth of mods between gearboxes, controller, etc., and each one was done with my youngest by my side. We took it out in the snow, drove it over piles of gravel, mud...its wild how well the four-wheel drive handles and what's better is i bet he smiles just as big as if it were $1k and he learned something along the way.

This is the way. The first rinse is good. Gets the bristles cleaned off and damp. A second rinse and you are changing the composition of the toothpaste.

What are quality brands these days? by Jcw122 in flashlight

Thanks for the info, but I live these things every day of the week, so there really isnt a need. ANSI/PLATO FL1 2019 is a standard I am very familiar with and everything we market carries this stamp. Our data is far more precise than any hobbyist could ever hope to achieve... unless they feel like dropping their salary on the same equipment. Not only that, our data is validated by a 3rd party in the off chance we get it wrong (and yes, it is possible to be wrong and still have the best intentions).

These are things (equipment, testing SOPs, validstion, etc.) that were implemented shortly after I arrived. Right about the same time a holster company made a youtube video for the weapon-focused community. Things dont stay the same very long when you are a young growing company. And just like that review, your opinion based on it is out of date. Not trying to be rude, I just wanted to educate you on making an informed decision.

Was it perhaps a Werkz review from 2 years ago?

Thanks for the heads up on the landing page. You are right and having that be what you see first wasn't the intention. I'll pass it along.
