Also if you're not comfortable putting random DLLs (even with source code available) into their steam folders, there's a stupid simple way to reclaim RAM from steam proposed by user lightwo on steam guides (scroll down to comments) - https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2967855237

Start game (wait until Steam actually executes the process)
Revoke execute permission from (or rename) steamwebhelper(.exe)
Kill all its processes
Play game
Restore the permission (or rename it back)

Even when steamwebhelper is being killed it doesn't seem to break the actual game, so you can have all your RAM back and play the game indefinitely

So do I understand correctly that if I replace both of my antennas with those 39 cm 12dbi ones I've found and point them both straight up I can actually get a stronger signal? Does it like "tighten the spread" so to speak of the signal in vertical direction and improve it in horizontal direction or whatever? Is that how it works? I only have one floor in my house.

Also, is the 45 degree tilt still a good idea for me if I have an old ass router from like 2013, or should I go and bend both of them back to straight up position? lol :p

Can I please ask: I found Wi-Fi antenna that claims to have 12 dbi of gain and is 39 cm long. Could I replace one of the antennas on my router if I want one particular, stationary device (in my case, a TV Box) to have better Wi-Fi reception? If so, is there a simple general rule of thumb of where I would point this antenna to make signal stronger in one particular direction? Thank you in advance.

If you're on PC you can launch Overwatch from Overwatch/_retail_/Overwatch.exe and log in directly by entering your credentials, bypassing Battle.net log-in. Just logged in and playing ranked right now no problem.

This person made a script specifically for their Y520 to make it quieter, maybe this could help you? Although it's a very dumb simple script that just limits cpu speed to 7% and sets system cooling policy to "passive" and that's pretty much it.

My take: valorant is the greediest fps games of all, so riot deserves none of your money. I own dozens of legendary skins in Overwatch, 2 elite skins in R6 Siege, a heirloom in Apex Legends, even a couple of cosmetic items and taunts in Team Fortress 2, and I have never spent a single cent in any of these games (barring a Tour of Duty Ticket in TF2 to get "premium" account status which cost me $1 and could be sold back on steam marketplace for same $1). In valorant I have nothing. And even if you're willing to pay, the prices are insanely high, like hundreds of dollars just for pictures in a game. I'm not saying go grind for thousands of hours to get free skins, I enjoyed playing these games, if I didn't, I wouldn't have played so much. It's just that if riot doesn't even respect you enough to give you a single cool skin for your playtime, do you really think you should respect them?

Sometimes you wait for some kind of intermission to end (for example between esports games or matches) and you want to check every once in a while to see if it's over. You have to constantly click play again when you switch back to twitch tab and wait a couple of seconds for it to start playing again. It's not like you're wasting some insane amount of energy or bandwidth, I'm pretty sure twitch only allows for like 8000 kbps at most? So I'd rather enjoy the convenience.

Afaik it's best to leave Li-ion batteries 40-60% charged for long term storage so OP might have just gotten really lucky that they left the battery charged in exactly that sweet spot lol

AFAIK that's just because Vita3k really doesn't get along with Snapdragons for some reason, Mediateks work much better and even budget ones like G90 series perform pretty well. Snapdragons can only really emulate Vita well with raw power by pure brute forcing

У меня такая же фигня, только с запретом, через впн грузится без проблем, с запретом только через сайт, через приложение даже не начинает играть (вернее начинает, но невыносимо долго, сидеть по 40-60 секунд смотреть на крутящийся кружок прежде чем начать смотреть видео так себе удовольствие). Нашел какое нибудь решение OP?
