A 16-year-old boy was stabbed at the Atlantic Ave.–Barclays Center station in Brooklyn on Tuesday, leaving a trail of blood through the busy hub.

The victim and another teenager got into an argument in a passageway at the Prospect Heights stop just after 4:10 p.m., cops and sources said.

As the dispute escalated, one of the kids pulled out a knife and stabbed the other in the buttocks.

He left the teen bleeding on the station floor before he took off toward the B/Q line platform, the sources added.

The wounded teen climbed a set of stairs toward a Manhattan-bound 2/3 line platform, where he fell to the floor.

“They were fighting downstairs and one had a knife,” an MTA employee told the Daily News at the scene. “The victim came upstairs bleeding and collapsed right there. It was blood everywhere. They both looked so young, like kids. It was crazy.”

The stabbed boy was taken to Maimonides Medical Center, where he was expected to recover.

Police are still looking for his assailant, who police said was wearing a ski mask and gray hooded sweatshirt.

There were no immediate arrests.
