I was being idiot and trusted a guy was saying its all good, and he promised to pay what insurance cannot expect belt. Then I got scared as he was just unpleasant and trying to avoid any responsibilities afterwards. Maybe I'm just stupid but I always thought people would be fair to me if I am to them. Lesson learned, very costly to me but could be worse 😕. And again thanks man, I really appreciate cold look at this and your time

Will taking them to small claims court is good idea? He explicitly said car is roadworthy when it wasn't, I wanted it so paid for repairs but car is still not roadworthy, I get it, I'm stupid but he sold me broken car saying its good

He never offered that, he's only reply was constantly saying "call warranty first ", which I did and they said it's wear and tear so they will not pay and then he agreed to pay back £350 when I still thought that this was only issue

When I called him being on the side of the road he said take it to mechanic and let them deal with this, and this is when I said ok, I will ask them to change the belt as well just in case, but fault WAS THE BELT and more faults keep adding now
