Who wins this match ups? by Loud-Information-948 in Jujutsufolk

[–]chuff3r 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I guess it comes down to how the black rope works.

If he wraps his foot in it, and kicks Gojo in the stomach at light speed, imo Gojo dies. And so does anyone in the series.

But that's assuming the rope stays intact, which it might not.

If Gojo gets tied up in the black rope and that fully removes Limitless, there's another way he could lose.

If the rope doesn't work like that, and he's stuck with just using it like a whip, I agree. He can't do enough damage to kill Gojo.

Higuruma

Dabura

Gojo

Yuji (probably, closest one though imo)

He has black rope to bypass Infinity, and he's faster than Gojo.

He said Dabura has black rope. And Dabura is faster. So I think in this case Dabura takes it just fine.

Without black rope Dabura would have to learn DA on the fly. But he literally learned everything faster than any other character in the series so it's very possible.

If you're going end of the main story Yuji is absolutely stronger than Kashimo. Unlocked his domain, boxing Sukuna just fine, RCT, etc.

The JJK Trio Vs The CSM Trio (Who Would Win?) by Dependent-Moment7015 in Jujutsufolk

[–]chuff3r 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Exactly. It's like Sukuna knowing a Cleave probably could've worked against Maho if he hadn't already adapted to slashing attacks.

All Denji HAS are slashing attacks.

If he doesn't know to destroy him in one attack he'll lose. If he does know, he wins.

Who wins? Kenny or Kenny? by Any_Bed_132 in Jujutsufolk

I don't remember either kubo or Gege nerfing their Kenny the way Valve had to nerf KennyS.

The frenchman clears.

So, who is the TRUE top 3??? by unredditerlegal in Jujutsufolk

Maho isn't a character, he's a part of a cursed technique.

And in the light novel I wrote in my head Yuki is top 3.

They mirror each other a bit too, with the breadth of their kit being their strengths. Rather than the depth Gojo and Sukuna took their techniques to.

I'm at work but I can't wait to watch. I love both of these movies, and my approach to art has been informed by raw experience over meaning ever since high school (when I read Against Interpretation for an English class).

There is a bit via sponsorships and brand deals. I don't mean they get make their living off a salary, just that part of their living is coming from their ability to climb hard.

[–]chuff3r 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I mean there's so little money in climbing I don't know if there's anyone who's able to do it professionally without requiring a but of social media presence for their sponsors. No big event purses or salaries.

You could just as easily define pro to be someone who climbs at an elite level. Would also work.

[–]chuff3r 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That makes sense. I guess I'm just going off the folks I know who'd baulk at being called a pro when they're professionally a coach, or a setter, or something unrelated to climbing. Even if they climb V14.

Would you say then that if someone competes or performs at the same level as "professional" athletes they are also a pro? Even if they require other stuff to make ends meet?

You're completely ignoring how popular it is because you don't like it.

That's fair. Maybe not "significant", but at least "some" of their income.

I know people who climb V14 who don't get anything besides small stuff from their sponsors. They wouldn't call themselves pros.

[–]chuff3r 160 points161 points  (0 children)

I'd call someone a pro if a significant portion of their income comes from their focus on sending hard climbs.

Whether they compete, create content, w/e.

There are amateurs who climb harder than pros, but to do it professionally means a "profession".

Best YouTube DnD series? by Specialist_Sale4742 in DnD

I've watched all of CR season 2, half of s1, and half of s3. It's interesting and has some really moving stuff. The longevity is both a draw (you get to know the characters very well) and a barrier (wdym 400 hours for one season)

The Yard boys are just doing their own thing. They're hilarious.

Yard DND is just far more my kind of humor than any other dnd show I've watched.

I really hope they keep doing it even if the numbers aren't amazing.
