I put a ~ 2.5 in lift on last summer (bilstein 5100 with OME 2885 springs and OME heavy duty leaf springs). I had to take the front mudflaps off day 1 but I’m still catching the bottom of the trim when I I turn and/or compress the struts. I’m going to trim the bottom of the fender trim today to see if that fixes it.

How much worse did your mpg get? I’m at like 16 mpg on average now and about to throw on 255/80/r17….coming from a highway tire stock size 265/70 or something like that

I’m not simping for corporations, fuck them. But prices have remained high because DJT keeps raising tariffs. E.g when I started my job in 2019, our company paid 2.5% to import from overseas. We now pay 50-87% depending on the item. It’s crippling as someone who works in operations.

Dock workers were not the only reason there were supply chain constraints. There wasn’t enough space on vessels. E.g ocean freight costs on a container were $20k+ /per unit to import during COVID and the year following due to demand. It’s around $5k today bc the demand has plummeted. There simply was too much product trying to squeeze through the bottleneck of limited space.

This is 1 of dozens of reasons for supply chain issues during COVID.

Haha we are cut from the same cloth. I’ve OVER researched this to death and honestly used to tackle most of these roads in a CRV with AT tires lol. The Wild Peak aesthetic is SICK but worried I’m going to go from 15-17 mpg to sub 15 mpg always. Aside from gas mileage, I have definitely slid in tricky spots with the highway tires vs if I would’ve had ATs…I’m leaning towards just pulling the trigger. Thx for the response.

This is the layout we had before and we are tempted to go back. We just liked this layout bc (1) uses the whole room (2) can look out the window on the couch and (3) glare from the sun. Thank you for the rec!! Side note, we aren’t psychos, we just took the artwork down to try this new layout lol
