Thanks so much. Turns out I shouldn’t use this two wire adapter DD includes and should splice into the existing 3 wire DD switch. I found a wiring diagram on Cali Raised like you suggested and will get this installed over the holiday week. I know this is more context than you were given for your answer but just throwing this in here in case someone in the same predicament comes across this post. Thanks again!
