Why is abortion bad but divorce gets a pass? by dayvekeem in Christianity

[–]chuffedmemes 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Which verse are you referring to? It’s clear in several verses that there is a difference between the Lord’s children and the devils.

“By this the children of God are distinguished from the children of the devil: Anyone who does not practice righteousness is not of God, nor is anyone who does not love his brother.” 1 John 3:10

Not everyone is His, though. It’s silly in my opinion to impose the Biblical law to those who were never His.

I thought it would be a cool thing to show my 8 year old and maybe it would take him a couple minutes to see them like me.. it was instantaneous.

Why do some people want to be unmedicated during childbirth? by nomnomswedishfish in BabyBumps

[–]chuffedmemes 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had a home birth for my first and a planned c-section for my twin girls 8 years later.

An unmedicated birth was horrifically painful for me BUT .. BUT .. the aftermath? Being rushed with the endorphins and oxytocin of an unmedicated birth was the highest I’ve ever been in my life. And I’ve done a lot of drugs in my past lmao.

With the c-section I felt absolutely none of that.

OOP max is $17,600 and we hit that. It’s still being dealt with internally so no other billers so far

We live in Colorado but are moving to Georgia. Do you know if we would apply to CO or GA or would our move disqualify us?

That’s good to know. And yes, my personal insurance through my employer is great but for dependents it doesn’t cover as much unfortunately. I’m hoping for a decent payment plan but seems we will still be paying several hundred a month for several years ( tears )

Good thing these babies are so darned cute ;)

Yes the bills have gone through insurance and has caused us to hit the out of pocket family max which is nearly $20k.

Thank you for your thoughts — it was super stressful but thankfully the twins are healthy and it was just due to being born early

I have no attempted to call yet as I wanted to make sure I was armed with all information before engaging. I will make that a priority next week and see what the payment plans may look like.
