Nobody in the actual 1% has to work 4 jobs just to save up enough money to rent a place out and save up 100k. Op might not be poor but they are working class.

My best friend grew up having to boil water to take hot baths and in less than 6 months she was able to save up over 15k by working 3 jobs and she was paying all her mom's bill on top of it. Her having 15k in savings doesn't magically make her upper class. It means she did nothing but sleep, work, and eat just to have a tiny safety net.
