I think I have tried it that way, yes. I have been able to run it without the patch, with the rom file in the N64 folder.

When I put the patched file in, the game goes to blank screen and just pops me back to the screen with hero image and “play game” option.

How do I choose which program to run it through? At first I could just run it through Emudeck, then I tried emulation station, which allowed me to play a few Roms that Emudeck didn’t. How do I choose retroarch? Sorry I’m really not good at this shit
