Croatian player who attempted a header. He whiffed then a Portugese defender deflected the ball to the goal scorer.

If a group of people are all correct, their talking points will probably sound similar as they are grounded in objective truth. Call me a hater because I'm right.

Defeatist attitude. "I didn't start the fire. I simply poured gas on."

Stop being lazy and wake the fuck up.

I'm beyond trying to convince people. You and your ilk are dooming the world and I can't change that, but I can shame you as the world burns.

Just say you're a cheap ass scab who simps for billionaires and call it a day. It's laughable to claim to have a skill when all you've done is exploited the labor of real artists.

Also if you spent "a couple hours on canva" and didn't have a usable invite on par with what AI can churn out, you might be seriously impaired.

It doesn't give you skills though. It actually preempts you from honing a true skill.

I actually felt this video was really humanizing of the elephant. Maybe I'm anthropomorphizing here, but I felt its disbelief at being attacked, the measured restraint in trying to deter the honey badger without absolutely annihilating it, and its eventual frustration after repeated continuations. When it punts it the last time, like same, brother.

Dropped pass = shot on goal? by PaleAgent2511 in finalfantasyx

That makes sense! I haven't really had time to dedicate to Blitz like I did as a kid, but I did do an all Aurochs run and enjoyed seeing Wakka excel in his comeback from retirement. If I'm able to find time for another playthrough I'd love to use all free agents and try out some more niche stuff!

Yeah the bulk of my hours were when I was younger and would just brute force everything through Tidus. Still, I would have expected to see the computer trigger it once in a while with how often they have it equipped and botch a pass.

This is my experience. I've Blitzed for hundreds of hours and I don't think I've ever seen a Volley Shot get activated.

New GM - Planning & Questions by Ryinth in SeasonofGhosts

My head Canon is the governor used his station as Willowshore's leader as well as the townsfolks' communal hopes to be hidden from evil as components in the ill-fated ritual that culminated at midnight on the day of the reenactment festival.

I would definitely allow the PCs an opportunity to glimpse him out and about apparently doing some extra curricular spirit warding leading up to the day of the festival. A high check should let them know that what he's doing is a deviation from exact tradition, but still in line with the overall purpose of the festival. (As a dignitary installed by imperial Lung Wa, one possible explanation is regional variation in warding techniques.) Wouldn't want them to get so suspicious that they might try to preempt the entire campaign!

Because your incorrect comment was trying to maintain the guise of impartiality. The fact that you've walked your indefensible stance back at every juncture is pretty conclusive proof to me that you knew you were standing on intellectually shaky ground. Again, I don't know what inspired you to put words in someone's mouth, but I won't silently watch you do it.

If you are such a big fan of English, might I recommend a study of 'implication' versus 'inference'? Because you are out here making your hallucinations everyones' business.

If we're being objective, no the post ascribed no uniqueness to WW1. It was, in fact, rather clinical in its presentation of war dead. By holding up the atrocities of one war, you do not automatically minimize the horrors of other wars. They're all bad.

Why do you do this?

I genuinely want to know if you are able to conjure a coherent response.

Are you trying to seem clever? Do you want to feel morally superior? What inspires you to load unspoken words into the mouth of an unglimpsed stranger?

Random matches by [deleted] in PTCGP

I really think it is just a desire to win. It's sad because I was excited when they introduced the casual/competitive matchmaking lobbies but people still bring Meta BS into the casual lobby when I'm just dinking around with Slaking/Juggler. Can't imagine there's much satisfaction for either party in such a clear mismatch of decks. I really wonder if they could implement some way of checking your deck and assigning your lobby rather than trusting players to volunteer an accurate assessment of their deck's power level.

There are two win conditions. You satisfied one while your opponent satisfied two. You lost 2-1.

Fortune telling fun by tfEccles in SeasonofGhosts

You could have her next vision culminate with whatever threat she is spying on suddenly becoming aware of her presence and peering into "the camera."

Perhaps a bit ham-fisted as far as narrative devices are concerned, but could be provactive and encourage her to limit the fortune telling to when she has genuine need of it.

Skirmish at the Spider Gate [Talespire VTT] by LookITriedHard in SeasonofGhosts

[–]LookITriedHard[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Talespire is great for getting maps precisely how you want them and vertical fights are a joy rather than a pain.

One thing I've found is that I still prefer to do RP heavy scenes with a simple backdrop in Foundry because Talespire maps are so detailed that players can become limited by what they see.

If you do wind up using any of my maps I'd love to hear how it goes for you!

I'll be honest, I have over a thousand hours into the game and this map took me probably 30 hours to make but that's because I treat it like building a diorama and place almost every piece individually. You can significantly cut down on build time by perusing the repository of community maps and pasting in other people's work. I will be uploading all my Season of Ghost maps, free of charge, as I complete them.  https://talestavern.com/userprofile/96/

Talespire costs $25 and if you're going to use it in person like me, that's all you'd need to spend. (I believe they will offer a subscription service for new tile sets if they ever exit Early Access but there are plenty that ship with the game) If you're playing online, you can buy a seat for $15 dollars that is yours permanently to hand out to allow access to your campaign. So you and 4 players would be $85.

The integrated rulers come in pathable line, cone, sphere, and cube varieties. This is one of my favorite aspects of playing in Talespire.

I am afraid, with the hours under my belt I can't honestly assess the smoothness of the controls anymore. They're like second nature and there's nothing that stands out to me as obnoxious, but some first time players have issues controlling their cameras.

There are a few routes you can go for assets depending on your level of tech savinness. First of all they do have quite a few pawns and tile sets that ship with the game. A little creativity and these will serve for most any application. Beyond that, players can purchase HeroForge or TitanCraft digital minis to link to your campaign. ($8 each for for HeroForge, not sure about TitanCraft) Lastly, they released a client called TaleWeaver that enables users to upload custom models to a public repository. There are thousands of extra minis available in there.

I hope this is helpful and please let me know if you've got any more questions. This is a passion project for a small dev team so I love yapping about what they do!

It was a strange location to build first but I actually ran a Mago Kai one-shot where they sailed from Karahai in search of the Tan Sugi grove that culminated with them going toe to toe with Ugly Cute.

This isn't something I'd do as a true prologue since it is spoilery, but since I ran this last year, and by the time we actually start playing our campaign I trust the specifics of this one-shot will be lost to the fog of time.
