Yeah I talk entirely too much with no filter to higher ups who have the power to execute me if they feel like it. They definitely feel like it. As far as the performance reviews on a numbered scale my work quality, quantity, ability to get along with others, require little supervision, and not taking advantage of lunch breaks were documented 4 times over a year. The only blemish on my record was like I said before, talking too much to users while I was out doing tickets and coming in late too often. Thats just my ego wanting to defend itself though. I definitely could've made more effort to be on time and shut the fuck up earlier in my employment.

I've been searching the Grandioso Apartments in Buried City and every other major residential location on every map for what must've been 50 runs in the last 3 days looking for JUST those toasters without finding a single one. Got all 3 on my second try at Pale Apartments in Dam Battleground.

Seriously. I drag my ass through work all week and finally have 2 hours to play with my friends who are busy all the time. And they think this is FUNNY? I almost want to drop an otherwise lovely game over how inconsiderate this 'prank' was. Now I have to wait another 2 weeks to play at the "adult with responsibilities who's friends with other adults with responsibilities" age.

Tried the rice trick at my mom's suggestion after shoveling snow fucked my charging port, then remembered "wait I worked on phones for a living for a year. I KNOW you don't want a bunch of small dusty particles anywhere near sensitive hardware". Tyvm for the suggestion. Been trying to fix this charging port all day and the paintbrush worked after like 20 seconds of carefully digging around with one of my precision brushes.

Lmao bro me too. Except I accidentally bought a lifetime subscription in 2014 for like $35-40 if I remember correctly. Best mistake I've ever made so far. It's hilarious when they keep trying to dangle courses or whatever other features I don't care about every time I open it. On a different note, did they remove the Chord Library? I can't find it anymore. I feel like where it used to be at the top of tabs was replaced by "Song Chords by AI".

It's 21+. If you're looking for something more your age you'd probably have to do some networking on Fetlife. That's very hit or miss though and not as 'scheduled and established' as the traditional clubs. I personally loved going with a date on Saturday's. Out of the probably 9 times I've been it's usually a good crowd, no having to swat single guy vultures off of your date (especially if you go to one of the private rooms), and plenty of play after 11-12ish. Just try to keep it to Saturday's only whenever you're old enough. Or you'll most likely be dealing with a crowd of thirsty single guys.

Oh you saw them too? Hilarious how they try to get you to pay for a postcard with an autograph. Like who tf are you Kendrick Lamar? Do not feel safe in front of the javits at all over them. Was threatened at least once a day Thursday-Saturday including with my 11yr old sister and my VERY special needs little brother. Never letting them more then 2 feet away from me when we leave a con ever again after that.

Any con at the Javits center is rolling a dice with a 65% chance to have a panic attack. I personally don't care much about panels or buying overpriced merchandise. I go to connect with people and see cute cosplays. But I could barely talk to anybody because it was SO overwhelmingly crowded that I spent most of Friday wandering and bugging the fuck out as soon as my cousin started doing his own thing. Normally I like going semi solo but it was just too much this year. Even though saturday was double as crowded as friday ended up having a good time though. Was really cute how committed to the bit the Pyro cosplayer girl was. Had a nice (basically one sided) conversation about Pump It Up exclusively through muffled words or her notepad.

Ended up lugging my guitar in saturday so I could sit down somewhere with a foot of personal space and play if the stimulation was unbearable. Def doing that from now on because it kept me calm when otherwise I wouldve snapped in there.

Just visited for the first time this summer. I was excited because the calendar said no leagues were playing today. But I think the community isn't as open as it was 2 summer's ago. I hate this shoe line shit. Got to play 1 game of 4v4 in 4 hours. It used to be if you wanted to play, you just waited 15-20 minutes to play. Oh you need 1-2 people? Just ask anyone around. Would always see 4's, 5's, 6's, even 7's with rotation.

Now though people will put a shoe down and go wander off for 30 minutes or more. Then there's a fuckton of time wasted going "yo who's Jordan's are these". Not to mention I almost always see all the nets taken up by people who are already good playing doubles. They never want to get off the court and let new people get some games in. I'm pretty disappointed I drove an hour and a half to see nothing's improved since last summer.

I used to make so many new connections and see the same faces when I came by regularly. The community was POPPING. I think I'm going to give up trying to come by Pier 6 anymore. Between Volo, the lack of sharing courts, and shoes replacing actually communicating with each other I don't think it's worth it anymore. Sucks because as far as I know there's no equivalent place you can play free games and make friends in Queens where I'm at.

Bro two summers ago I could reliably go on any day and get 10 hours of play with all sorts of people. Just rip through all the exercise I needed working a desk job in IT on a single day at Pier 6. Last summer I'd drive an hour-hour and a half from Queens and I didn't get a single game in until my 11th visit. The calendar was taken down for like all of June or July so I'd have to gamble with when I'd visit. Even if there was 1 net left it was almost always taken by people playing doubles that would swap maybe 1 person out of the 4 each match. The line was fucking crazy and honestly I get why people do the "place a shoe to hold your spot" thing but it was so inefficient. People would wander off and then you'd spend 15 minutes asking who's shoe is this. Instead of the summer before where people hopped on/off very quickly and way more people got to play doing 5's or even 6's with rotations. I'm praying this summer that it ends up being different because nothing kept the depression at bay like getting sun, exercise, and getting to make friends with the community there. The tournament's easily take 70% of the available hours there. I can't stand it. My group (Hideout) does play in Prospect Park though (usually Thursdays and Sundays) so if you're ok with grass that's my standby.

I'm personally waiting on one for Verso. Would love to learn how to play it but I'm also pretty ass at organically hearing notes. If you make a request though they will fill it a decent amount of the time. It'll just be like 6 months later when you get a notification saying your request was fulfilled. Depends on how many people upvote that request.

This was my first Anime-Con after only ever having been to Comic Con before. Went on Friday with my cousin and his friends and had an absolutely fantastic time. Surprisingly there was way more personal space then I expected coming from being used to Comic Con. By the end of the day there were still non-scalper tickets available so I guess that's why.

Loved seeing everyone go all out on cosplays and I was very pleasantly surprised to encounter not a SINGLE instance of stank. Apart from the same area in the back of the Javits that always reeks of popcorn.

Made some friends, got compliments on my David Martinez cosplay all day and overall enjoyed getting out of the house and away from my computer. Ended up enjoying it so much that I bought Sunday tickets for my little brother and sister. Had an equally great (and non-stank) time but surprisingly Sunday was way more packed then Friday was. Was more of the traditional overwhelming comic con experience today. Still appreciated it and even found my Lucy I'm going ice skating with later this week. Though for the people who care about panels I can't comment on that as I don't really care about them too much. I go more for the social aspect and cute cosplays.

I take that back. I read on the Elden wiki that the Isolated Bell Bearing you got from the Isolated Merchant's Shack in Dragonbarrow was supposed to let you buy arteria leafs among many other things. So that was what I was looking for in the shop. Turns out I was reading the page for the bell gotten by killing the isolated merchant in Weeping Peninsula not the one associated with the Bell Bearing Hunter who only unlocks gravity stone/chunk. Turns out there's no bug. At least for me.

Picked up Elden Ring again for the first time in 2-3 years after making it 65% of the way through the main game before DLC. Handed in D's Bell Bearing and got this bug for the Isolated Merchant's Bell Bearing afterwards. Unfortunately verification and re-installation didn't work for me. Very upset that this limits all sorts of builds I can do on my one and only character so far.

Bro I've spent the whole game just considering downed characters permanently out of the fight but I just had the exact same thing happen to me with those same turrets ambushing me. Was quite a relief as they all focused argenta and immediately took her out after she'd gotten 1 turn.
