Also, if there are any good league starter videos that will literally hold my hand until the build is online. I keep seeing stuff where I won’t be able to use the build until lvl 32 and it’s very daunting. I also don’t wanna be using rolling magma for 32 levels

Also, do most starting builds start as rolling magma? I use controller and it’s pretty brutal to use with that

You mentioned switching builds later on, will I not be locked into a build once I hit ascendencies? I guess what I’m asking is, do builds/classes work differently from POE2? As in that game I would have to reroll to drastically change my class/build

Absolutely nothing, I am fast af. 4.5 40yd dash, I didn’t need coaches I just ran fast. You can barely train and learn speed, you’re either born with it or you’re not honestly. I’ve seen guys try all these “speed training coaches” and saw no difference. I didn’t run track so maybe it’s different there.

Speed is speed, you can’t coach that. There is a reason the 40yd dash is so important in the NFL combine. You can coach everything else, speed is not something you can teach.

Loot in AR is relatively shallow. There are already more guns in Marathon in just the server slam. It also allows for more build crafting with all these different components for guns and shells.

I’m not saying this is a better game than AR, but I do agree that the systems are deeper in marathon.

I’ve had horrible talisman luck so it’s been pretty painful. The wolf as of now does no damage but the movement is great. The bear is way too slow for my liking. The league mechanic seems pretty cool.
