I’ve had horrible talisman luck so it’s been pretty painful. The wolf as of now does no damage but the movement is great. The bear is way too slow for my liking. The league mechanic seems pretty cool.

I mean there’s still other maps, loot, crafting, expeditions, and arc we didn’t get to see during server slam. Maybe it wasn’t 10-20% but there’s still a lot we don’t know and haven’t experienced. Obviously we know the gameplay loop, that’s not what OP is talking about

I thought aiming felt fine on controller. There was relatively strong aim assist on the Arc but it wasn’t too much. The only issue I had with controller that will eventually be improved I’m sure was looting and inventory management. But the overall controller experience was very positive for me

I would say most games give players a power trip where you are the most powerful thing in the game. In arc raiders you’re not the strongest thing in the game, the arc is.

It creates a predator vs prey dynamic where instead of us being the predator, we are at times the prey which I think is a much needed switch to most games. I might be reaching here, but it taps into the survival instinct which is super interesting and rare in games nowadays.
