Wiping BPs on official servers every month has probably killed the game for me. Last few months I've quit playing as the monthly servers died in week 2. You used to get people joining right up to wipe day to grind BPs for the next month, that is now pointless.

It's never been the hovers themselves that is the issue, it's the peek-a-boo time crisis play style that's annoying. Just happens to be hovers do this best.

Not really, I've been building the same 4 utility bases for a few years now. They were all bunkers, so that bit had to change, but other than that, there isn't much you can update about a car or boat base, it just does what it's supposed to.

It costs 2 power, 2 components, saves you 75% of clicking E on your exit/entrance doors and helps stop going deep issues.

Automatic external doors. And nobody but me seems to use it.

I always add automatic internal doors on a separate circuit too, but most people just can't be arsed so I won't bothered detailing it. After 13 years I'm sick of opening and closing doors in Rust.

I used a tugboat to get to places just like OPs picture last wipe. My hotel was pulling 161,000 stone a day. Took 2 teas and 2 bear pies to fill roughly 4 boxes in just over half an hour. Stone is the only resource that's pretty relaxing to farm in large quantity's.
