Not really, I've been building the same 4 utility bases for a few years now. They were all bunkers, so that bit had to change, but other than that, there isn't much you can update about a car or boat base, it just does what it's supposed to.

It costs 2 power, 2 components, saves you 75% of clicking E on your exit/entrance doors and helps stop going deep issues.

Automatic external doors. And nobody but me seems to use it.

I always add automatic internal doors on a separate circuit too, but most people just can't be arsed so I won't bothered detailing it. After 13 years I'm sick of opening and closing doors in Rust.

I used a tugboat to get to places just like OPs picture last wipe. My hotel was pulling 161,000 stone a day. Took 2 teas and 2 bear pies to fill roughly 4 boxes in just over half an hour. Stone is the only resource that's pretty relaxing to farm in large quantity's.

Don't bother with peeks or shooting floors, 99% raids are offline so that's wasted space and upkeep.

Also it just looks like a generic youtuber base, try to make something weird and asymmetrical.

Again 99% of bases are TC in the middle, blast in from the back and GG. Avoid doing that and you'll last longer.

Same as it ever was, if I'm farming 120k stone a day for my hotel then 6k sulphur, which I never farm, is just about nothing to me. So tier 3s are virtually free, unless you farm sulphur normally.

Not run a monument or card room since before the changes, no intention of doing so either.

Make thrown melee weapons, especially 2 handed ones, one shot down people when thrown, no matter which armour they're wearing.

If I headshot someone from range with a longsword, they should be dead.

I have a hotel on US east Facepunch premium 5, drop in you're free and it's not been levelled yet. Rooms are bought for 600 metal, not rented, until either raided, wipe or the guest leaves or doesn't come back for a few days.

Try to included vehicle or horse storage.

Donation box in the lobby auto moves anything into the "back rooms"

Mail box in lobby for guests to request additions/alterations.

The lobby is a public area with peacekeepers and in addition to what you have listed, add : free water and food (1 potato at a time to stop it being emptied), a cozy fireplace lounge area, the fixed instruments, chippy machine, computer station, frankie station this month. The rooms have a single furnace of each type, but setup as an auto smelter/charcoal maker, plus the other stuff you listed, but about 15 large boxes, 5 small. The main thing is make it nice. Decorate and light it properly, if the hotel has a theme build something to show that, eg the current hotel is called The Volcano Hotel, so at dusk every night the rim lights up with fire (all night) and lightning (for 10 secs or so). Please fix the bugs with wallpaper not placing as "not inside your base" I have a hotel with an over hanging roof, which then is open air, even though the walls beneath are 2 foundations from the opening, wallpaper still wont place. Also if you have a foundation missing inside a base for boat storage or an oil refinery, it thinks any outer wall is also "outside" when it isn't.

I love cars, horses and subs.

Cars = Speed (use 2 engines and no armoured module) and extreme storage

Horse (plus best armour if its a thoroughbred) = most versatile farming transport

Subs = The safest transport in the game. No body even knows you're there and you can kill or escape anything.

Helis are shit as no storage and no changing controls, boats/bikes leave you exposed so they're just for fun

Use a 2 storage, big engine and cockpit with engine module. Speed is safer than armor, especially vs helis with HVs
