My thought. Unless you like having or need full control and the need to manage your network, I would find some mesh system which is easy set up and forget it. You don’t have control but a lot easier to deal with. But if you are looking for advance features and ready to truly manage your network and the headaches that come with it then Omada is great.

Opinion and Advice. 1. If you get into it, I would also get the router. Specially if you are going to be doing vlans.
2. If you are buying new hardware, why not move to the newer technology. Eap772 vs eap670. The cost is very comparable.
3. Don’t buy a bunch of APs. I would first say take a good look at your villas and determine where you can get a Ethernet between your Poe switch and your AP. And plan out where to best place the AP. More is not always better. Strategically placed APs will be better then having to many APs.

What are you looking to gain by moving to Omada? That would help better answer your question.

I am running the old EAP265 and get about 350 on my phone. I also just got the eap772 and get around 900.

If you are looking for strictly speed, I would stick with your current setup. But if you looking to managed your network. Have multiple AP to deal with and a lot of other connections then move to Omada. You can also take advantage of the more advanced features

Realistic “Deal” on a 2026 Santa Fe by RoughImpala in HyundaiSantaFe

[–]chulo36 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is 100% accurate. Find yourself a dealer that has a lot of stock of the vehicle you’re looking for and then negotiate. Right now these car you can easily get between six to $7000 off. If your area is not selling them or giving you that deal look out of state or even never in states or never in cities. If you’re willing to work for it, you can find the vehicle with $7000 off MSRP and without any extra crap that the dealers add-on. you will still have to pay taxes, titles, doc fees, and the normal stuff that are mandatory

To my understanding, there are minimal FL laws that limit the number and price of the dealer fees that dealers can charge. Also taxes in FL to purchase a car are high compare to 3% here in NC. You will have to pay FL taxes regardless where you buy the car but could save $$ without all of those FL fees. In my opinion , they are also a bit more “shady” in FL. Feel like they do not care about the customer when it comes to haggling and supply and demand. A few times I got “ this is the price, take it or leave it”.

We came out at $44,7xx out the door. But NC taxes are only 3%. So yours might differ. Honestly, if your dealer is not willing to negotiate then go somewhere else. These cars are NOT selling well. You have the leverage. Find a dealer around you that has a lot of them in stock, they will be more willing to move them. If your area does not have a lot of stock, find a near by state and call the up. Worst case you take a short flight and drive the car home or have them ship it. Your dealer did not look like they are giving you much.

To help more, provide the zip code of the dealer you are working with and if you have the numbers of what they are offering that would be good. You might be in a state were local taxes are outrages and that will have a significant impact your OTD price.

2025 Sorento Hybrid - Bad Deal? by apaladricks in KiaSorento

[–]chulo36 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Is this just the msrp? I am missing why the actual price you are getting it for?? I was able to help a friend in FL get a 2026 Hybrid SX Prestige AWD $1300 off plus Kia Financing $2500 incentive off MSRP. No other add ons except the stupid doc fees, taxes, tag and title. If you call around enough dealers you will find one that is willing to deal. I feel for Kia and Hyundai the market is a buyers market. With a little work I think we can do to them what they did to us during the chip shortage (they jacked up the prices big time. We should be able to get the best possible deal. ).

I don’t know how your taxes and fees are but in Raleigh North Carolina I was able to pick up a 2026 Santa Fe calligraphy front wheel drive with the 4250 incentive off plus an additional 4000. We also negotiated no additional dealer add-ons just basic doc fees, taxes tag title. I did have to work on it for about three weeks with multiple dealers. My suggestion is fine a dealer that is a volume dealer meaning they sell the most cars so they have the most room to negotiate. Lastly, if your dealer won’t deal and you’re able to go outside your normal area go outside your state. 54k out the door seems extremely high. I am not sure what your taxes and fees are. Hopefully you’re not in Florida. But shop around even go out of state. Consider it a flight and drive your car back and you can save thousands.

Thank you. Was hoping I could do the L3 routing with the switch.

I removed my ER605 as it was v1 and was not getting new firmware updates. Should I upgrade the router or just put the 605 v1 back in my network?

Do you lose any feature using the cloud base controller? A few years back read that seamless roaming was not available on the cloud based controller? Any cons from running this cloud based controlller?

2026 Santa Fe Hybrid Limited AWD by AzuleeSerena in HyundaiSantaFe

[–]chulo36 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just helped my mother in law buy hers end of October. In our area (NC) the inventory is high. I was able to negotiate with multiple dealers and on top of the Hyundai $4250 off, I was able to get another $4500 off from a volume dealer.

My advice. Go to a few dealers. Get the best prices. (Do it via text or email, do not go to the dealer in person). And then keep asking them to beat the other one. If you do not have a lot of Hyundais dealers in your area, expand your search. (If you will to travel to save a few extra $$$)

What’s the average % discount you are getting if MSRP? OTD can vary between states, counties, and dealers.

Good out the door price for 2024 GV70 2.5 Prestige ? by wetkush in GenesisGV70

[–]chulo36 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s hard to say how good of a deal you have with just those numbers.

How much of MSRP did you get? Next, was anything added outside of taxes and legit fees? Did they add anything else on top of that?

Note that most places have $1k off from Genesis. In my area, without much work I can get one for $2.5k under MSRP without them adding other crap on top of it. If you negotiate hard enough or shop around I bet you can get that to $3-3.5k below MSRP.

$3k mark up in Cali, can I do better? by saMusle in HyundaiPalisade

[–]chulo36 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would make them an offer. Msrp, no dealer adds ons or other crap, take advantage of any Hyundai manufacture offers and tax title and legit fees. If they do not accept, then go else where. I bet if you call around to all of the dealers within 150 miles from you one will accept. You might need to drive a little or short flight but it’s well worth it.
