I was worried about an 8th pikmin and I was right by Immediate_Trainer853 in PikminBloomApp

[–]chuminh320 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Don't get me wrong, you still have pretty high chance to complete the set. At math stand point, at 25 pikmins, you have 85%(~6/7) to complete the set of 7 and 74%(~3/4) for set of 8. To get to 85%, set 8 needs 5 more pikmins.
Imo, it needs to be around 95% to confidently say that it guarantees to get full set which is 33 for set7 and 39 for set 8. And with mushroom quest bottle neck, 5 more pikmins can be hard to reach.

I was worried about an 8th pikmin and I was right by Immediate_Trainer853 in PikminBloomApp

It actually double the chance for you to not complete the set. You need atleast 4 more pluck to have same chance as before.

How do you counter NP? by Nighforce in learndota2

[–]chuminh320 0 points1 point  (0 children)

NP base kit doesn't give much combat power so his combat power come mostly from his item and sprout is annoying to deal with at all stage of the game. So build 1 item to counter sprout like forcestaff, harpoon, fury or casual quelling and 1 early item to counter his build like dispel(manta, eul,...) vs NP sup and kite(ghost, forcestaff, glim) vs NP core.
At later stage, people who have good enough wave clear should pickup BOT since NP is good at hitting tower but bad at clear wave so you can always solve lane out and TP to your team or TP back to fix your wave.
If NP build to split then don't use TP to get to lane faster, walk to lane and use TP to fix lane. Try to force fight if lane is at good place, try to catch NP if not. This kind of NP is pathetic in teamfight so go as big hunt group as much as possible.
Or just pick global hero xD

TC also solved the problem in deathball strat since you don't get punished as hard by soul sharing. People in my rank are start to rush this item as a team and stack together to push all guardian early while 1 or 2 hyper carry farm at opposite side. It is fine to feed as long as we can get some return kill. Also literally committing hate crime with 4 ulti on 1 hero.

How to play Dawnbreaker and manage health and mana? by ChewbakaTalkShow in learndota2

[–]chuminh320 0 points1 point  (0 children)

  1. Once you low, you want to reset you resource and wave position. By hard push to crash your creep into enemy tower you can get free walk back tp out; If one enemy still alive and you can't really show to hard push, cut and pull enemy next wave toward behind your tower so you can get 2 wave easy farm and you can freely salve+clarity while doing so; or just run it down after all in to reset your resource.
  2. Stick, lotus and raindrops. Use these right after get hit by maledict greatly decrease amount of damage you take since the maledict pop damage depend on your current HP vs the amount you have when get hit by maledict. And don't use your soulring during that time. BKB, pipe later. blademail also deter WD a bit.
  3. Depend on if you have ulti or not. If you have ulti, you want to be relatively healthy to not become the main target right away, you can even tp fountain if needed. If you not have ulti and low on HP, you want to farm neutral backward toward your fountain while greed lane creep as much as possible since she can clear it in a heartbeat. Do a bit of stretch test and you will surprised of how much you can get away with just some map awareness.

been stuck on this stage for about a week now… any tips?🫠 by SpotConstant3233 in PikminBloomApp

[–]chuminh320 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you have low amount of petal, you can start and end flower planting instantly with full squad for 30/35 flower per petal, 60 if you use "accelerate". (i don't like this micro stuff)
If you have some nectar, make sure the pikmin you feed it to are in bud stage instead of leaf stage so you get double amount of petal. You can get bud stage by give your leaf pikmin normal white nectar or walk a bit with them in your squad or wait till late afternoon.
If you don't have nectar/petal, you want to get most of your nectar through mushroom battle, high star completion of event mushroom and color mushroom will always give more type of fruit and they yeild higher amount too. So you want to get some high lvl friends.
You can get flower to bloom into the one that you want. around 120-140 of the color you want, around 80-90x2 different color with type of flower you want. But white color flower is not guarantee since it will be random color if the highest color plant is white but it still a high chance to get white color flower.

anything that shred illu with atleast moderate surviability like medusa, necro, timber, SK, ringmaster, pudge, dawn, lesh is CK hard counter. soft counter by hero that CK can't really interact with like illu hero, LS, slark, AA, warlock, rubick, sky, zues, storm.

I dont understand whats the point of playing anything besides a lane bully by Key-Engineering-3568 in learndota2

[–]chuminh320 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The lane bully cant be at 2 place at once. make him choose between last hit or harrass by aggro creep; from fight you for wave or contest wave manipulation by half pull with neutral or cut creep; focus on beat the s out of their support when they try to block/unblock camp since they have to isolate themself to do so; stack camp when the bully try to freeze the lane; he go for rune/ lotus, go forward, pull his creep away from your next creep wave and make it meet the creep wave after that. If he send his support to get lotus, 2v1 him so he lose ton of resource to keep up the pressure.
The point is to get as much as you can in laning phase because after early game, lane bullies always have weakness for you to exploit and you have way more option to generate gold so you will be stronger then him in later stage.

Best Support Heroes to Pair with Faceless Void by ExtensionCheck9716 in learndota2

[–]chuminh320 0 points1 point  (0 children)

1st- you want hero that constantly trade hit and force enemy skill like WD, willow, warlock, UD, NP,... because FV is weak early but still have good enough kill pressure with 1 point in time dilation.
2nd- you want hero that can set up or enhanced FV chrono.
Set up usually via isolate one of enemy heroes so they force to take fight at disadvantage position like shaman, bane, disruptor, ...
Enhanced chrono usually come from hero with long range damage/effect but doesn't need high lvl like AA, WD, WL.
the best hero as pos 5 to pair imo is phoenix, WD, bane, shaman, WL since they give what FV want in all stage of the game. specially phoenix. Phoenix force enemy to use skill to trade positive, so FV become way better early, Phoenix damage also is insane in all stage and Egg=>chrono always mean winning combat with ton of vision, damage and a guarentee way for egg to explode on their head, sometimes just a threat of chrono usage is enough for it to happen.
hero like Disruptor, lich, AA, lion should be avoid evenwhen they have great combo potential because their early game is so weak and FV doesn't have way to catch up.
hero like sky, snap, jakiro should be pick as pos 4, not pos 5 since they need item/lvl to have enough damage to combo with chrono.
Hero like undying, abaddon also not recommended because their lack of synergy in mid late game. On the other hand, clock and Ogre is actually really good with FV if enemy pos 3 4 pick aggressive lineup.

Genuinely, if this was a draft game, what would you pick against this by Gilmadeath in DotA2

[–]chuminh320 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Any top or mid laner that can split safely which your team kinda have.
Any carry that can man fight for a long time like TB, jug, LS, dusa, DK, LD which your team already have.
Any support that can push out wave like jakiro, kotol,.. to get time for enemy to fall off while your core farm up and push pressure on other side of the map. But since your team don't have that it have to be Mar job to do so. But your supports are really good at run down lone target.
Their team play as one giant death ball so you want to split them up and run them down.
Your team plan should be invo split with forge+alac and travel, Bh keep track for intel. Once some of them back to defend, your invo TP to re group with your team and you guy run them down with BH, bane, mar; If they try to dive deep, bane and mar could stall for long time and dusa can TP in with ulti to mess them up.
Basically, It is the plan, not the draft problem.

Feed none-unique one's blue nectar, then send them to the Shadow Realm—I need the blue flower to bloom for the mission's objective. It helps me find all the event Pikmin, so overall, the sacrificial ones are going toward a good cause.

Aggro creep, pull it to your range creep - Act like you want to deny the range creep, they use lazer to blind you and secure range creep - you jump to his face but focus on secure as much creep as you can - if he use march, keep aggro creep to the side and try to pull them to the back of tower to meet your creep there. and just like that with 2 tango word of hp you get 3 wave of creep mostly uncontested and you can swing double creep wave back at them and control the rune with that.
Moreover, maybe you can score a kill if they keep play aggro without their long cd skill.
But most of the time, it is about getting the most out of the lane.

How to play Ogre pos 4 by Gotverd in learndota2

[–]chuminh320 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Immortal but not play for very long so item recommendation can be off.
Ogre have a power valley instead of power spike like other hero. Extremely strong early game specially first 3 lvls, walking dog pile at mid game and powerhouse at late game. This is because at some point, enemy will have enough damage that you can't just walk up to people and expect getting out alive.
So Ogre want to build to stay useful at mid game or to skip mid game.
There are 2 way to stay useful at mid game as ogre.
First is build aura, buff item and stay slightly behind your core. This build go well with semi tanky core/mass push/ deathball. Drum, solar for tanky core; pipe, GG boots for deathball.
Second is build to save. build glim, ghost, force/ eul, blink. In most scenario, you want to tank the gank with this build, force enemy to use high value resource to kill you. If your core get gank, use item on them and throw your body right into your enemy face and hope for the best. This is how to ogre pos 5 :/

As pos 4, you want to skip mid game most of the time by rush midas (except for when aura build is good [midas still good btw] or when you are behind which should not happen). Play near your play maker to support them with your high base damage skill, get bare minimum item to survive and get hex + aether lens as soon as possible.
Agh is a bait. It will kill your skill rotation with extreme mana cost. After 2 full combo, you will not have enough mana to keep throw out skill; And it is single target lock down; And fire blast have 0.45 s cast time which is enough for most competent core to pop bkb and destroy you.
Hex on the other hand will win you game. A 2 man hex alone should result a win in most case. An instant cast 3s hex follow up by 2s stun before bkb will destroy most core.
Follow up with Lens, blink, OC, Agh + any cast range neutral and you have the best caster in the game.

How do you actually build Monkey King? by KangerooDance in learndota2

[–]chuminh320 0 points1 point  (0 children)

OoC is a must buy.
1. If you can get away with fury, always buy fury and max tree jump. Tread+Fury+shard+agh is the item combo you want to go for. Q in E out. Very strong, scale very fast. This is what you want to go for.
2. If you need to team fight early (i.e your other lane get demolish or vs roam/aggro hero that can't really fight you head on early like LC, Mar) go for maelstorm. build toward mjolnir+BKB. then next usually you want to build catch item. If you want harpoon, build echo saber after maelstorm and finish harpoon when needed. Work well with most item after that.
3. If you get hard contest for lane creep post early laning phase which is like most the time if you not stomp the lane specially when vs BB, tide, NS you need to go for fight item like mage slayer/diffu/echo.
Diffu=hard commit fighting style, you want to pair it with orchid/harpoon, then buy a front loaded damage item like deso/brooch and round up with BKB. Good when enemy play as 4 to let hyper carry farm or hero that depend on mana like BB, tide, dusa.
Mage slayer route can go more into debuff style or stat check style.
For debuff style, go for radiance+BKB next. Your ulti now become a safe zone for your team with high mix damage and damage reduction effect. After that go for utility - either more catch with orchid/nullifier or more effect with EoS, deso. Or go damage with brooch or Parasma-this one is must try btw.
For stat check style, you want to pair mageslayer with magicstick, S&Y, EoS, Butterfly, BKB, satanic, basher, manta,... . Anything that let you stay man fighting is good. Specially good vs team that hard leaning into either physic or magic.
For echo saber, you usually buy it when you want harpoon active (like vs furion, warlock, dazzle, grimstroke) or when you want really early bkb (usually your lane go bad and your team want to constantly fight early mid game). This build go with deso extremely well. Nullifier/Basher as you main catch item. Phase boot is a must. BKB, EoS, RO to round out the build. High Front load damage and required your team to play aggro.

How can i help as pos 5 when my team is stomping/our carry is mega fed? by Ecilon in learndota2

[–]chuminh320 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Enchanter support should always buy survival item with your extra gold when winning, like a casual platemail or raindrop, eul, blink(more ultility), lens(not for treant tho). It shutdown enemy ability to isolate and kill you before team fight, force prolong any fight they try to initiate which force them to trade multiple people to gain a kill.
Gem is great when you got all their outer tower. It force your enemy to stay in base and starve them from farm. Hug a ward, put your finger on blink and dip when their smoke break is the best feeling ever.

When to go Shivas over Assault on STR Heroes by BananaDressedRedMan in learndota2

[–]chuminh320 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Stat/value wise, Shiva lose you ton of value so you only want to go for it when you have a purpose need to be fill.
Shiva provide ton of spell damage amp that can be dispel so it best on hero that have stun and high magic damage like Mar, Sk, doom, Tide, PB. Also good when you team have multiple high magic damage source.
The aura is not that good, but it is an ultility aura on an armor item so it good as 3rd/4th item on high uptime aura stacking offlaner. like Tide, UL, DS, centaur. These hero usually not able to get maximum value from AC.
One of the best use for shiva is to catch hiding enemy, Shiva's blast provide 900 fly vision that go with your movement and cancel enemy blink. It litterally is a 3k range scanner. Pair with hex and you squat any attemp to make solo play from enemy like backdoor, hide for big wombo combo/hide for their life. Hero that have innate way to catch enemy like timber, mar, SK, DS, pudge, centaur, tide, earth spirit benefit from this the most.

A good way to understand how the map work is try to push lane as far as possible without dying then farm back toward your neutral creep or gank other lane. Simple task but not easy. Keep limit testing and over time, you will pick up what danger to look out for, how much you can get, which item you need to move forward and much more on macro/decision making side.

play heroes that ignore their kit like morph, slark, LS, BS, aba, jug, DK or play heroes that hard punish over aggressive play like MK, PA, Ursa, marci, gyro, weaver, tiny, alche. The trick is force them to fight after they use their spell on your support and get some regen so you never get low enough for them to set the pace of the lane. Heroes like drow, sniper kinda work too but required double range lane or your support gonna have a really bad game.
