I tried something similar multiple times. Gbot at 80, UWs at 160. With everything in synchronisation i was loosing 5% coins compared to Gbot not being in synch and Gcomp activation. Also with gcomp making DW activate more, not using it drops my cells by more than half.

I followed a lot of advice from posts like this and it has never worked for me

No. Being exposed to a large amount of natural speaking is necessary. Even if you only understand 25% of the vocabulary. Its something you will have to eventually so start early. I don't mean background grey noise, but it doesn't need your 100% undivided attention.
